Ch307-Gene's Party

A/N: I think I've decided on a schedule. On the first day it will be PDHS the second day it will be nothing, the third day it will be TIPD and on the final day it will be nothing and then this continues. I feel that this will be a good schedule because it means that I will have more time for other types of writing.

Ugh why did I set my alarm on a weekend? I don't have anything important today and I don't think I have any appointments with the vet for Celestia. I close my eyes again but my phone starts ringing.

G-Hey Aph, ready for today?

A-What's today?

G-The party, you didn't forget did you?

A-Oh yeah, the Christmas party. No I totally remembered, I have the perfect dress for it

G-Ok well then see you in an hour, bye

Aphmau's P.O.V.

SUGAR HONEY ICED TEA THE PARTY

I race out of bed and to the bathroom. I take the quickest shower possible and then grab my red and white dress. It's not one of those extremely short and tiny dresses, its pretty modest. But I'm not bashing people who want to wear a short Christmas dress, wear what you want.

I brush my hair and pull it into a high ponytail. I use some mascara, eyeliner and gingerbread flavoured lipgloss. I spray on my perfume and brush my teeth.

When I am in the kitchen I feed Celestia, making sure it's the amount that the vet told me to. I text Gene and tell him to bring Shadow over to be with Celestia while we are out. Soon enough I am ready to leave and Gene's car pulls up. I open the door and let him in.

"Hey Aph, you ready to go?" He asks

I nod and look over to Celestia and Shadow. Shadow seems to really be happy and I'm guessing he knows because Celestia told him or something. I don't really know much about how dogs communicate aside from barking.

Gene and I get in his car and we drive to the party. While going there Gene is telling me about this new club he joined at school. It's a music club that focuses on covers of independent songs. He really is turning his life around.

We arrive at the party and we walk over to the host. Gene knows him from some old gang work. Bit now both of them have left and turned their life around. Gene and I go get some lunch and we talk for a bit. I see out of the corner of my eye a guy with black hair hitting in all the girls.

Eventually he comes over to me and smirks.

"Hey beautiful, why don't you leave this looser and come with me?" He asks

"Wait Ivan?" Gene asks with confusion

So they know each other, strange.

"Gene, how did you get yourself a girl as hot as her?" Ivan asks him

"We aren't dating, now do you want something?" Gene asks bitterly

I look over to the entrance and I see Lucinda come in the front gate. She sees me and smiles but then notices who we are talking to. She walks over to us and stands next to me.

"Ivan what are you doing here?" She asks

"Lucinda, babe, I've missed you" Ivan says trying to hug her

"Oh really? Did you miss me when you cheated on me with 5 other girls?" She asks

"I've told you. They where a mistake, they meant nothing" he says rolling his eyes

"Sure, well I'm going to go and I'm taking my friends with me" Lucinda states dragging Gene and I away from Ivan

Lucinda explains that he was her ex boyfriend. He is a powerful sorcerer so we shouldn't make him to angry and don't get in a fight with him.

Lucinda goes to talk to a few of her friends while Gene and I stay talking to each other. I'm starting to get a very bad feeling about Ivan though. It's like I can sense him planning something bad and I don't like it. He keeps looking over at Lucinda.

Sure enough I see him charge up a ball of energy and he is aiming it in Lucinda's direction.

"Lucinda watch out!" I yell

Luckily thanks to my warning Lucinda and her friends manage to duck and not be injured. Lucinda grabs her wand and aims it at Ivan. Soon enough both of them are throwing spells and curses at each other. Everyone else gets to safety and we watch it all unfold.

Soon enough Lucinda grows tired and she can't use powerful spells, this is the time when someone needs to stop them because if we don't someone will be killed.

"Ok both of you stop?" I ask "This was supposed to be a party" I say

Suddenly I'm grabbed by Ivan and he holds a knife to my neck.

"Lucinda if you call the police I will kill her" Ivan yells

"Let her go" Lucinda replies

Suddenly the knife is dropped and Ivan falls to the ground. I am pulled away and held to someone's chest. I look up and see Gene's eyes looking at me with concern.

The police move in and take Ivan away. The party continues but I'm still a little shaken up. But it's not exactly a new thing and that's a scary thought. I take a few deal breaths and I realise that I don't need to be worried about Ivan because I have Lucinda, Gene and my magiks.

Gene asks me to dance and I accept happily. We dance the day away and before I know it it's time to go home. I loved dancing with him but we can't dance forever. When we get home Celestia and Shadow are asleep and we don't want to wake them.

I make tea and I sit down with Gene. We talk about the party and I thank him for saving me. He kisses my cheek and tells me that it was no problem. I laugh and Celestia and Shadow run into the room looking for food.
