I have been waiting for him for over an hour! There is practically nobody on campus anymore. The only ones left are the kids who are in sports or the smart kids. I can see Nova in his car from where I'm siting he just pulled up and I'm guessing that he's waiting for someone. Carter goes in his car moments later and they drive off with only a faint honk that I'm almost positive was for me as an attempt to say Hi.
Half an hour later and my boyfriend still isn't here and I'm still waiting on these hard benches. I could have been home already if I just walked home. Jamie should have told me something came up and he couldn't come for me instead of me just sitting out here like an idiot. Nova just pulled up and dropped of Jess. My guess is that they went to get some snacks because Carter has a bag full of chips and sodas. I've seen some people with party supplies pass by me... I wonder if its for the same event? I give up and finally let my self walk home I put my homework away and get up and swipe my self down on my backside to make sure no dirt went on me.
I wave Hi to Nova on my way out of the parking lot. Just because we don't talk anymore doesn't mean I'm gonna just pass by without at least an attempt on waving at him. Instead of waving back Hi, He calls me over. I'm surprised by this but make my feet move towards him. I never mentioned this but Nova is really, like really good looking. He definitely has changed a whole lot since middle school. Like if I had a machine to make up my dream guy based on looks he would be it. I know I shouldn't be saying that because I have a boyfriend but Nova beat the shit out of puberty. He's taller than me but not to were he is over towering me I'm 5'6 he is probably around 5'10 - 5'11 he is in football despite his circumstance. One of the many unique things about him is that he's really popular and gets along with any clique if people just make an effort with him. He works hard for what he has. I have known him for practically all of my life and we've always been close. When me and James got together in seventh grade he was the first person I told. I was so used to going to Nova and Jamie for everything it was hard to have some time apart from Nova to be with just Jamie. I was always a little closer to Nova than I was with Jamie. Nova, Jamie and I were still as strong as ever in middle school though. Nova congratulated Jamie and I when we told him we were together, even if it seemed that his smile didn't quite reach his eyes.

I get a little nervous as I approach his car we haven't really talked in a while. We recently started saying Hi and bye and give each other hugs as well but a full blown conversation hasn't happened since Nova and James got in a fight in the beginning of freshman year. The fight happened because James heard a rumor about Nova having a thing for me. I can see where James was coming from, I'm not saying I agree with what happened but he was defending our relationship. Nova was our, "James" best friend. James was just mad that out of all the guys who could have possibly have a thing for me it had to be his, "our" best friend. James told me he tried to work it out with him. He told me that Nova said he just wanted some time apart from the both of us.
