Weekends are super busy at work. I was doing double shift since morning as I had been missing my turns for my 'pain in the arse' assignment. Brossville was the little town in Paris. This town has been my home for past two years. And slowly and steadily I have accepted this place and it's people around. Now I know many customers by there first names too, many even made me there friends.

When I moved here I never asked more than this, I broke my depression spell and welcomed whatever life threw at my way. Sure, It was a bit difficult at first new place, new city, new university. No one I know. It was scary but it was a bliss in disguise.

"Table 7 two beers and table 9 one strawberry shot" Said Cally

"Right on" I replied.

"Where is Bryan?" Asked Cally.

"He is running late I guess" I replied glancing at the watch again past two.

"One sparkling water Gin" Said Joe.

"Anything else?" I asked Joe.

He nodded no and quickly rushed for the order. Crowd was growing thick and I started wondering where the hell is Bryan?

"Did I kept any one waiting?" I heard him from kitchen door.

"Get working, we will have our lil kitty party later" Answered Cally.

"I see" Bryan tied his apron around his waist and stood beside me placing orders.

More people came around and it was around five when finally people started thinning, two or three customers hanging around enjoying there quite time.

All four of us sat at the back of the kitchen as we closed it for short break. Enjoying Carlo's amazing creation called 'FOOD' we ate like no tomorrow.

After a satisfied burp we pushed our plates away only Bryan was having a refill again. We shake our heads and chuckled lightly. What lives in his stomach?

"Nothing, I just have a strong metabolism" Bryan braked at me.

I frowned my eyebrows at him for his annoyed look.

"You said that aloud again, his stomach thing." clarified Joe.

I gasped at him and gave Bryan a smirk, he ignored me completely dig on his food again.

"Some day it's going to land you in great trouble Gin" Remarked Carlos.

"Din't I heard that before- Hah" I tilted my head a little at right. Thinking hard.

"It is, and that day is today.!" Defined Bryan.

"Meaning" I inquired with a slight grin.

"Oh! laugh as much as u wanna...once I say about the passes I don't think you would even smile" He was the one who was smirking now.

"What passes? are we going to a party?" exclaimed Cally.

"Something like that" Said Bryan eyeing me.

No longer smiling or smirking I only stared at Bryan without blinking holding my breath and counting on his every syllable.

"What is it?" I finally asked slowly.

"Ahaa- this. This is my favorite expression in the whole world love" Bryan laughed.

I looked like a deer caught in red light. not a funny expression mind you.

He slowly pulled out something from his pocket and kept on the table. I darted my eyes from the table and to his face.

"It's on Thursday night." He replied and pushed an envelope towards me.

"Whats in it?" asked Joe.

"It's a pass for this ball..." Bryan was interrupted

"I am in" Shouted Cally exhilarated.

"Ball for annual Magical Ministry...." Bryan was interrupted again.

"I am out" Sighed Cally.

"Are you sure, there will be free wine" Mocked Joe.

"Free booze and bald man, naa I shall pass." Replied Cally.

"Not all men are bald in Ministry...." Bryan was saying where again he was cut off rudely.

"Yeah I forgot they all so have wrinkles around there faces and walk slower than snails and can make you fall asleep just by looking your way" Stated Cally.

Irritated beyond believe Bryan threw killer looks at Cally, if only looks could kill. He finally shifted his gaze at me.

"But I don't have a dress" I spoke after a while.

"What dress?" together they asked.

"Dress, it say dress code. which means I need a formal dress or a gown" I pushed the pass around the table.

"You can have mine" Said Cally.

"Yours?" I scanned her deep cut T shirt and low waist jeans clung tightly around her body like a snake wrapped around branch, never I saw her dress modestly it always had an open view and she had a bold way with bright colours and patterns. It went fine with her. But I can't even imagine me in her dresses.

"I hear an accusation" She narrowed her eyes at me.

"Aa..No no, please I think I wont fit in your style" I tried playing smooth.

"hmm....Your too boring for your own good. This will be actually fun to see you from different angel" She had a funny look in her eyes.

I looked at Bryan who was chatting with Joe slowly leaving me at Cally's mercy for his good riddance. I gulped and narrowed my options. I don't have a dress, sadly Bryan is no girl. He wont be any help in shopping thing too and I am as bad as him, which only leaves Cally. And she is offering too. I sobered my doubts and smiled brightly at her.

"Okay." I said her truthfully.

"All right" She Beamed at me.

"Chilled Ice Cream coke at your service, so what did I missed gang?" Asked Carlos

We looked at him and together replied."Nothing"

"Will see you at 7 tomorrow night" Said Cally.

"It's a date" I confirmed.
