Chapter 5

"How about this one." Alexis boomed while showing me a beautiful Pastel teal. "It looks great!" I answered. I walked towards the back of the paint store and looked at the brighter colors. I picked a pretty light blue and two other colors off the top shelf. I made my way over to Alexis and asked her after i grabbed the paint that matched the swatches,

"Ready to go?"

" Yeah, im ready."

We decided to go to the nearest Starbucks. I told her i'll order for both of us. I stood in line when she stayed in the car. I pulled out my phone as the line slowely moved forward I read the lock screen- (5) new text messages and (4) new voicemails- Number unknown I stood behind the counter and slid my phone back in to my pocket. Not wanting to even know who it was. Even though i had already knew.

"What can I get you today ma'am."

The lady behind the counter asked politly,

"Uh, 1 hot cofee and 1 cup of tea. Please."

 I stepped to the side waiting for the drinks when a man aproached me. He had curly brown hair and big green eyes.

"Ashleigh?" He questioned.

I furrowed my eyebrows and suddenly remembered who he was.

"Harry?! Is that you.?" I said. "Who else? Im only your best friend!!"He cheekily smiled.

I hugged him and we talked until the order was ready.

"Wanna get together again sometime?" He asked.

"Yes, yes let me give you my number and ill text you."

I agreed. He gave me his phone and i put my number in.

"Nice to see you again."

Harry said as he gave me another hug.

"Nice to see you too." I smiled at his cheeky grin when he turned around to wave goodbye.

"Where do you want the paint" I asked Alexis.

"Would you mind putting them in the guest bedroom for now?"

"No not at all." I replied.

I lifted the many paint buckets into the bedroom. BUZZ. BUZZ. I felt my phone in my pocket go off. I set the last of the buckets down and puled it out. One new text message-from Harry. I opened the message. It read:  

Hey best friend whatcha up too?- 

Nothin, hbu?- 

Just wondering when we'll be able to hang out again? Get to catch up- 

Wanna hang out tonight? 6:00 good.-  

Yeah sounds great- 

Cant wait :) -  

Me neither!.  

I went and picked out the perfect movie, outfit and food for tonight. In a way being around Harry made me feel like my younger crazy fun self. I really loved that feeling.
