[What do you need, Crush?]

"Good morning, Maxie. I missed you."

I'm on the phone with my best friend, Maxie

[Just go straight to the point and tell me what you need, Crush.]

"Can you please accompany me to the mall today Maxie? Pretty please?"

[You called me this early just to tell me that?]

"Maxie it's not early anymore. It's already 9:16 am."

[That's too early for a saturday morning, Crushelle!]

"Fine. I'm sorry. Start preparing already okay? I'm currently in front of your house."

[Argh! I hate you.]

"I love you too, Maxie."

I hung up. I can't stop from giggling.

I know how much Maxie loves me that's why she can't say no to me.

Her mom opened the door for me.

"Good Morning, Auntie!"

"You're so early, Crushelle. Are you two going out today?"

"Yes, Auntie. We'll buy something in the mall."

"Alright. I'll wake her up."

"No need, Auntie. I already called her."

"Okay, do you want something to eat or drink?"

"Juice will do, Auntie."

"I'll get you one while waiting for Maxie, okay?"

She left me in the living room and went to the kitchen.

A few minutes later, she came back with a glass of juice.

"Here you go."

"Thank you, Auntie."

"Feel at home, darling. I'll do some laundry first."

"Okay."

---

"What are we going to do here?" Maxie asked.

"I'll just buy something."

"Just make sure that it's worth the wake okay?"

"For me, it's worth the wait. But for you? I don't think so." I chuckled.

"Oh my gosh. Be thankful that I love you."

"Gee, thanks."

We walked into the shop where the tickets are being sold.

"One SVIP ticket for EXO's concert please."

"It costs 15,350 pesos, Ma'am."

I gave her the money I saved for the last 5 months. Good thing I learned how to be thrifty.

She gave me my ticket.

"Thank you Ma'am."

And with that we left the shop.

"Oh my gosh, Crushelle." Maxie said.

"Why?" I asked.

"Don't tell me you just spent 15,350 pesos for a concert?"

"It's not just a simple concert, Maxie. It's my chance to see them and him."

"Seriously, Crush. What do you get by liking them?"

"Nothing. But they're one of the reasons why I am studying harder."

"I just don't get it. How can you like a song when you don't even understand what it says?"

"C'mon, Maxie. What are the English translations for? Besides, music has no language barrier. Can't you just be happy for me?"

"Fine. If that's what makes you happy, then go."

"Thank you! You're the best bestfriend in the whole wide world."

"I won't buy that."

We were about to ride a jeepney when Maxie said something I forgot.

"Does your mom know this? You, going to a concert?"

"Oh my. She doesn't."

"You're definitely in trouble."

"Uh-oh." I sighed.

---

I just got home and I don't know how should I tell my mom about this.

Should I tell her?

Or not?

Ugh. My ticket will be a waste if she won't let me go.

"M-Mom."

"Yes?"

"Nothing."

I don't think I can do this.

I'm afraid she might get super mad at me.

What should I do?

"Crush." she called me.

Crush is my nickname. Crushelle is too long to say, that's why.

"Y-yes Mom?"

"Your teacher called me earlier."

"Really? What did she say?" I asked.

I'm getting nervous about it. What if I have a failing grade, my mom would be really angry with me. That's for sure.

"She said that...."

"That what Mom?"

"That you got the highest grade in your class."

Highest what?

"Pardon?"

"She said that you got the highest grade in your class."

"What?! Really?" I really can't believe this.

"And because of that I'll let you attend."

"Attend what Mom?"

"I heard that you favorite boy band will have a concert here next week. And I'm letting you go." Mom said smiling.

OH MY GOSH?!

"Is this for real Mom?"

"Yes, it is. But I won't be the one paying for the ticket."

"Don't worry, Mom. I got that covered."

"Alright."

"Thank you so much, Mom. I love you."

With that, I went straightly to my room.

I can't believe it. I'll see him in 4 days time. Tao~ I'm going to see you soon.

Very soooooon.
