Everyone follows you and Bilbo as you both approach the door. You stand to the side as Bilbo opens the door revealing yet another male Dwarf. This Dwarf has long black hair that has a single grey streak within it and also seems to be the tallest out of all of them. His hair pulled back the same as Fili and Kili's.
He turns his head at the sound of the door being opened. Looking directly at the Wizard, who stood behind you and Bilbo.
"Gandalf," He says as a small smirk forms but it quickly disappears as he steps inside "I thought you said this place would be easy to find. I lost my way, twice. I wouldn't have found it at all had it not been for that mark on the door."
"Mark? There's no mark on that door. It was painted a week ago," Bilbo says to correct the Dwarf before him
"There is a mark. I put it there myself," Gandalf says, shutting the door "Bilbo and (Y/N) Baggins, allow me to introduce the leader of our company: Thorin Oakenshield."
"So," Thorin says looking at the both of you with an amused look "This is the Hobbit and the half-breed?"
You raise an eyebrow at what he calls you. You've never heard such a term before. Though, you have no time to question him as he starts speaking again.
"Tell me, Mr. and Ms. Baggins, have you two done much fighting?" Thorin questions while circling you and Bilbo like an animal with its prey
"Pardon me?" Bilbo retorts
"Ax or sword?" Thorin continues, ignoring what Bilbo said "What's your weapon of choice?"
"Well, I do have some skill at conkers, if you must know," Bilbo answers as you mentally facepalm "But I fail to see why that's relevant."
"Thought as much," Thorin says with an amused look "He looks more like a grocer than a burglar."
You squint your eyes at the man as everyone else but you and Bilbo chuckles at his joke.
"And what of you lass?" Thorin asks, looking at you "Or are just as skilled as him?"
You squint your eyes further before answering.
"Neighbor girl tried to attack me once yelling about something having to do with another young hobbit male," You say then smirk "Let's just say she avoids me in whatever ways possible."
With that Thorin takes one last look at you before walking to the dining room with everyone following.
"What news from the meeting in Ered Luin?" Balin asks as Thorin eats the soup you placed down in front of him
"Pst," You heard beside you as you stood in the back
As you turn your head, your eyes lock with Kili's with an innocent look in his.
"Would you like to sit?" He offers, whispering to not disturb his uncle's conversation
You glance around seeing no other chairs then look back at Kili.
"There are no other chairs," You whisper back about to look back to those who are talking
As soon as you say this, Kili leans back a bit and pats his leg. At this, you raise your eyebrow. Kili gives you an assuring look, at which you shrug your shoulders and sit down. You listen back to the conversation as Kili loosely put an arm around your waist.
"And what did the Dwarves of the Iron Hills say?" Dwalin asks "Is Dain with us?"
Thorin lets out a short sigh before answering.
