"Oi!!! Can you slow down!" Said a somewhat of a soft voice
"And can you speed up." Said a cold but calm voice

"Fine we can stop." Said the harsh voice
"You really need to stop this Aki." The soft voice said
"I'll stop stealing until the orphanage gives us something edible to eat Keiko." Aki said while giving off a smirk

Keiko sighed
"Let's go before we get punished again." Keiko said
"Not until we finishing eating." Aki pouted
"Fine whatever." Keiko said

"Hey! Where have you two been?" The caretaker asked
"None of your business." Aki responded in a cold voice

SLAP

"What makes you think you can talk to me like that!" The caretaker shouted after slapping Aki across her cheek.
"Tch, don't ever touch me again, your not my mother, Keiko let's go." Aki said while dragging Keiko away from the care taker...

They go to there 'room' which was really a room filled with other orphans...

"Geez Aki, your such a savage." Keiko said
"Damn right I am, I have to act tough or else I'll be easily 'controlled' by that whale." Aki said
"Hey, what you got against whales ;-;." Keiko said

Aki rolled her eyes

"I wish I can leave this damn place, but we'll just get caught again, thirteen year old can't get no where." Aki said
"Yup, then we'll get hella beaten up." Keiko said

Aki layed back on her bed and sighed

"Another day another dollar." She said
"You can say that again." As Keiko said also leaning back on her bed

Let's get some rest... We have school tomorrow...

Aki POV

I woke up the next morning, I looked in the mirror and saw that I had a brusie on my cheek where the caretaker slapped me...

I got used to the pain after supposedly thirteen years in this damn place. I never knew my parents. Keiko had the same problem and thus we became best of friends. I tend to be quite harsh with people, because everyone irritates me... but Keiko, she tried to get the good side out of me... She's ALWAYS been there for me...

I let out my super dark brown curly hair that was in a bun, my hair hanged a few inches above my waist... I looked into my crimson red eyes, they were extremely odd. One thing that people find to bully me about but I don't care, I think my eyes are pretty dope. I brought my hair to the side creating a side braid... Like I always did. Then putting on a red shirt, khaki joggers, and red converse, and I took out my necklace that was tucked under my shirt which I've always had.

I head out to the dining area where I found Keiko waiting...

"Over slept again Missy." The caretaker hissed at me, I just shrugged it off

Keiko's straight chestnut colored hair was placed back in a low pony tail (her hair was slightly longer than mine) She was wearing a blue shirt, dark colored jeans, and black converse. Her ocean blue eyes turned over to me. She's always greeting everyone with her kind smile and kind blue eyes.

"Hi Aki!" She said while waving
I sat next to her
"Aren't you gonna eat?" She asked
"Nah I'm good I'll probably gonna sneak something from the vending machine at school, anyway we should get going." I said

We grabbed our backpacks, Keiko grabbed her violin case, and I grabbed my clarinet case and we headed off...

Keiko POV

Aki and I arrived at school, of course that orphanage didn't have teachers to teach everyone so we were sent to a pretty ratchet public school, the other kids from our orphanage that were in middle school would arrive later. As we entered Aki put on her cold aura which made people avoid her... People are surprised that were best friends, were basically complete opposites.

Aki was really good at school, straight A student, I on the other hand... Well I'm okay. Aki was also big on music, she was fantastic, a music prodigy, although her main focus is singing and playing the clarinet. We volunteered at a music store and they gave us free instruments which was pretty nice... Even though she was good at school, she was also a trouble maker, often got into fights. She was feared by so many people but others just liked getting on her bad side.

After school...

"How was your day?" I asked Aki
"It was good I beat up another kid again." She said
I sighed
"Again?"
"Yes, he was irritating me." She said
"Your fist must be made of iron if they're able to punch kids and tress every day."
Aki smirked

Halfway to the orphanage..

"So, any homework?" I asked
"Yup, I have to read a couple chapters of my book, study for a test, finish a report." Aki said as she sighed
"Hang in there Aki." I said
"I'll tr- Ow!" Aki said while hold the side of her head
"What wro- Owie!" I shouted
I started to get this migraine

Then the migraine turned into a Wtf headache

"Argh!! What the hell!" Aki shouted... Pretty soon the pain was unbearable, then we blacked out

"Hello? Hello? Are you okay?" I heard a voice asked, it was female

My eyes opened to see... Pink?

"GAH! Omg!" I shot up and shouted
"Calm down." The girl said
"WHO ARE YOU!" I continued to shout My shouts woke up Aki

"Who's shouting?" Aki asked
"Its okay I'm not going to hurt you." The pink haired girl said
"Who are you?" Aki asked coldly
"My name is Sakura Haruno, I found you here lying unconscious." She said "What are your names?" She then asked

"Keiko Souta." I said
"Aki Heikima." Aki said
"Well nice to met you." She said then smiled

I looked around, I remembered that Aki and I got huge headaches before passing out, we weren't in our neighborhood anymore.

"Huh where are we?" I asked nervously
"We're near my village, I can take you there if you want." Sakura offered "I can take you two back to Hokage and see what he'll do." She said
"Hoka- what now." I said raising an eyebrow
"Just come." Sakura said
"Why should we trust you?" Aki said
"I guess you'll just stay her-"
"Wait!" I interrupted "fine take us to this Hokage guy."

Aki rolled her eyes knowing that once I make up my mind there's no changing it

"By the way Sakura, what's the name of your village?" I asked
"Konoha or the hidden leaf village."
