Chapter 29: Edolas Part 1

GRAY'S POV

Ugh! God! My head!

I remembered Erza and I walking back from our first mission. We were walking by an open field when we noticed a big hole up in the sky. Before we could even do anything, a bright light immobilized the both of us.

Now I'm just regaining my consciousness. I'm struggling on focusing my senses. I only felt that I was lying down on a bed.

I regained my eyesight to see Erza looking down on me.

"E-Erza... What's going on...Where are we?" I said as I took in my surroundings

I saw another Erza lying on another bed

I looked back at the Erza standing over me. She was wearing a crown and a dress, a dress royalty usually wore

What's going on... Why are there two Erza's?

I tried getting up, but I felt incredibly weak. As if my life force was sapped from me.

"Please. You mustn't get up. You'll strain yourself" Said the Erza standing by my side

"What's going on?" I weakly asked

"I think it's best that I explain" Said another voice

I looked over to the direction where the voice came from

This man was wearing robes, also the kind royalty would wear. He had blue hair and a tattoo around his right eye
The man stood by the Erza standing beside me.

I must be having a nightmare. Jellal and Erza standing by each others side.

"Jellal?" I asked

"Yes. But you know me better by another name. Mystogan" The man said

MYSTOGAN?! WAIT that mus mean I'm in-

"It really is nostalgic to meet an old comrade of mine. Welcome back to Edolas" E!Jellal said

"Gray..." The Erza lying on the other bed muttered

I scrambled off my bed trying to get on my feet, struggling to get over by Erza side

"Erza... I'm right here" I said holding her hand

"Gray... What's going on... Where are we?" She asked weakly

"We're in-" I said before getting cut off

"You're in Edolas. Scarlet" E!Erza glared

Erza looked over at E!Erza

"Knightwalker" Erza glared

ERZA'S POV

I tried getting off my bed. But I felt so weak, I shakily stood. Good thing Gray caught my shoulder and helped me up.

"Thanks" I thanked Gray

"No Problem" Gray said

I turned towards Knightwalker and what I assume to be Jellal but was actually Mystogan.

"Mind if I ask why we're here Mystogan?" I asked

"I go by Jellal in Edolas" Mystogan said

"I'll stick to Mystogan. Thank you" I said

"As far as explanations go. I'll see to it my my attendants fix us up some supper, for you guys to recover your strength. Then I will explain" Mystogan said
