GRAY'S POV

I asked Erza to stay back for a moment.
I just wanted to talk to him alone.

The man who was kneeling down in front of a makeshift grave.

It was my father

"I knew you'd be here, but why are you here?"I asked Silver from behind

He turned around shock filled his eyes like he saw something unimaginable
He looked down to the ground as if unable to look me in the eye.

"It really is me. You're not seeing a ghost"I confirmed

"..."Silver stood silent

"You really didn't think I would have noticed? Your him right? Your my old man?"I questioned Silver

"You're right... I was once your dad, but I am no longer human, nor am I demon"He remained looking at the ground

"I am a corpse. For 17 years now... I've been dead for a long time." Silver revealed a hole through his body

I stood shock at the revelation

"A necromancer. A curse that allows one to control the dead. I was collected by him as a corpse to take part in an experiment" Silver said

"Experiment?!" I stood shocked

"It's aim is to determine just how closely one can make the existence of a corpse resemble its former self." Silver said

"I was but one among several hundred corpses. Yet I have lived this long... or, more accurately, I have existed" Silver said

"And all of it was for the sake of revenge... against the demons that stole my family away from me..." Silver said

"While in the dark guild, I persevered, In secret, killing demons whenever I stumbled upon them" Silver said

"You should know I had to clean up your mess back at the Sun Village" I made sure to point it out

"Forgive me for that incident. It seems those flames were not of demonic origin." Silver apologized

"Slowly... gradually... I continued to weaken the power of the demons around me until finally, I was in a position to move on a plan that I thought would destroy Tartaros." Silver continued on

"But it was then I learned that you were still alive." Silver's voice broke

" Silver's voice broke
