Chapter 52: Stories Part 2 "Birthday Part 1"

ERZA'S POV

*JANUARY 10, X792*

New Year was a blast along with my friends it was the best party in the guild by far.

I'm a bit glad that I had someone to kiss during New Year's Eve 🎉.

"Happy New Year, babe" 😘Gray said

"Happy New Year, babe" 😘I said back

Oh yeah we started calling each other nicknames.

We gave in and smooched up a storm when the clock hit 12.

As for a new year. I decided a new look for a new year. I cut my hair short. I somewhat looked like my Edolas counterpart. I was really glad that Gray liked the new style, he said it reminded him of me when we were kids. Plus he started doing something I really liked... He walks up behind me and kisses the scruff on my neck, it felt very ticklish and sensual when he did that. He also said it made spooning much more easier for him since he doesn't get a face full of hair everytime we do it.

Back to present time

"So what do you want for your birthday?" Gray asked

"I really don't know what else to want. I got everything right here." I said as I tapped his chest

"I have to at least get you something" He said

"Your company is all I could ask for my birthday." I hinted

"Hmm... how about a fun day together?" He asked

"Isn't that just everyday?"I said

"Nope. This'll be a birthday special" He said in grandeur

"You've already done everything fun date that I can imagine, but I'll look forward to it" I assured him

January 12. Two days from now will be my 20th birthday. I will no longer be a teenager. But I don't think I'll change that much. Gray seems to relish the feeling of dating an older girl since he's only 18. I'm a year older than him, which isn't much of an age gap.

Speaking of birthdays. I wonder what I'll get him come 20th of July?

He clearly said that sex doesn't count as a present last Christmas. Which made for slim pickings.

Sometimes the role in our relationship would switch on who gets to be the serious one. I thought I would be full on be the serious one, but my love and affection for him brings out the goofy and playful side of me from time to time.

"So Gray... what would you like for lunch?" I asked since I'll be making lunch

"Surprise me" 😏He dared

I walked to the kitchen thinking of what to cook over the past few weeks I've become a good cook. We sometimes cook for each other but when we cook together, we often played around and make a mess which didn't help.

*BAM*

Suddenly I felt like I just walked into a wall.

"Hey, You alright?" Gray asked out of concern

"Yeah I'm-?. Where'd you go?"I looked for Gray suddenly

"I'm tight here. What's going on?"He grabbed my wrists from my right

"Hmmm"Gray looked at me with a raised brow

"What?" I asked out of confusion

He got an orange from the fruit bowl in the kitchen.
