She's connected to tons of wires and has needles in her arms.
I walk closer, this can't be Lilly.
"Nurse?" I say.

"Oh, you must be Lilly's mom! Her room just got switched to next door. Come through the adjoining door." She says, leading me.

"Thank you!" I say and walk into the new room.

There's my Lilly, sitting up and drawing. She's alright! She's okay! She's gonna live!

"Mama!" She shouts excitedly.

A man turns around and faces Lilly.

"Lilly remember no screaming!" He says.

"Sowwy." She says cutely.

"It's fine we just want you to get better." He explains.

She then goes back to drawing.
"Hi, I'm Dr Brown. I assume you're Lilly's family?" He asks.

We all nod.

"Lilly got a very small concussion and blacked out because of the pain. No big deal." He explains, "just keep her away from loud noises until 24 hours have passed from the incident. So at 4:30 pm tomorrow, she's all good." He finishes.

"Wow, thank you!" I say. "When can she leave?"

"Whenever you want to. Just schedule an appointment for next month to make sure everything's good." He states.

I thank him again and we walk out.

A/N: short chapter huh.
