Chapter 20

"Can you open my present?" Ryan asks.

I nod and open it. There's so many barbies! And not only barbies, but there's also an American Girl Doll!

"Thank you Ryan!" I say hugging him.

The door opens and Aunt Colleen walks in with a puppy.

"Who's puppy is that?" Mommy asks.

"Check its collar!" Someone yells.

I look and it has my address on it!

"Surprise!" Aunt Colleen says, "he's all yours!"

"Thank you so much!" I say hugging her.

Mommy seems angry. Is she gonna take my puppy away?

Her and daddy go upstairs while I try to name him.

"Attention, I've narrowed it down to three choices!" I shout

"Chewy, Puppers, or Josh!" I say excitedly.

Everybody's faces go blank and auntie panties looks upset.

"Um, Lilly, let's not name it Josh." Grandma says

I pout because it's my puppy not hers. If someone got grandma a puppy, they wouldn't choose the name would they?

"Why grandma?! It's my favorite!" I say

"Um, reasons." She says, trying to hide the fact that there's a secret, "if you wanna know you can ask auntie panties."

"Auntie Panties! Why can't I name my doggy Josh?" I whine.

"Because the name upsets me." She says and walks away.

Wow, she's a real meanie sometimes!
