A Show Not Awaited For

Applejack is nervous and rightfully so. She has a show, but this time, it's different. This is the first time all her family including extended family have come to watch her show. The only one not there is Granny Smith. Just the same, Applejack pulls off the show perfectly.

After the show, Big Mack and Cheerilee come up and tell her the sad news. "Granny Smith is dead," they say. This destroys Applejack. She and Granny had a special bond. Now Granny was gone. AJ didn't know what to do. All she could do was cry on her brother's shoulder until the tears were all gone.
