It's a new day and Luna is getting married to Shadow today. Celestia is overlooking her sister's wedding. Within the hour, Shadow and Luna are officially married. Luna's children are happy to have a father. Luna is happy to have Shadow back.
A year later, Luna and Shadow have a child together: a son with a smoky black mane and coat like his father. They name the colt Smoke. Nightingale and Midnight are glad to have another sibling around. Star Catcher, the local wizard and Midnight's girlfriend, even enjoys little Smoke. Luna and Shadow couldn't be happier as the sit together and watch Midnight and Nightingale play with baby Smoke. Luna smiles at him. "You make me happy Shadow," she says as she leans on his shoulder. To hear her say that means the world to him.
