Three Years Later, Rarity Finally Tells Gemstone the Truth

Three years later, "why do I never see daddy?" Asks a young Gemstone.
"Well, uh, um," replies Rarity, "it's hard to explain but your father left me and started a family with another mare named Fleur de Lis. He left me alone to raise you all on my own. Your father was a cheat and a liar and never truly loved me. I filed for divorce and it was accepted. He has no right to visit you. I have soul custody of you. You have two half siblings, a sister and a brother named Fleuris and Bow Tie. Though it's hard for me to say this, Fleur and the foals can come by for a play date any time even though I still cannot stand Fleur for what she did to me. It's only right that you know your half siblings. Anyhow, your Aunt Sweetie Belle and her family are stopping by soon to visit, so go run along and get yourself cleaned up."

Instead of going to her room to get dressed like Rarity told her, Gemstone runs to her room and cries. She misses her daddy. A few minutes later, she pulls herself together, puts on her favorite tutu, and goes down to meet her aunt with an artificial smile faked on her face.
