One day the ponies see creatures overhead. They have horns and wings, manes and tails. "They're Alicorns! Alicorns incoming!" Hollers Pinkie Pie. Twilight and Cadance and Flurry Heart, Celestia, Luna, Sunshine, Nightingale, and Midnight can't believe their eyes. There's Alicorns everywhere. Four of them land.
"Why are you here?" Ask Celestia and Luna.
"To take over Equestria," they reply.
"Never!" Reply the sisters.
"So be it," replies the dominant male. "Let the Great Alicorn War begin!"
The war begins and lasts for one hundred years. In the end, Equestria is victorious. The other Alicorns fly off accept the dominant two. "We are disappointed in you our daughters. You've chosen your side Celestia and Luna and you will regret it." The two then fly off. They've alienated themselves from their parents and that is the worst feeling in the world. They've lost the one thing they've always wanted-to see their parents again and to have a happy family reunion.
