Dragon III

Rose Ann's POV

When I left the house, I went straight to Cristina's house. It's still a little early so I'll just hang out here, I don't want to wait at home because Lola isn't there. She left early and just leave a prepared breakfast for me. She didn't even inform me kung saang lupalop ng Pilipinas siya pupunta. She could wake me up to tell me where she was going for me to know where could I find her if ever, but she didn't. Ang tanda-tanda na pero ang lakwatsera pa rin, tsk.

I caught up with Tita Minerva in the living room, Cristina's mother. Who were folding their washed clothes while watching TV. She's even laughing because she's watching the movie entitled 'White Girls'. That was aired a long time ago so you must know about it, right?

"Oh nandito ka na pala, naliligo pa lang si Cristina paki-hintay na lang." She said as she noticed me sitting on the sofa in front of her.

"Sige po Tita... uhm hindi po ba kayo nagsasawa diyan sa movie na 'yan? Naka-tatlong ulit ko na po yatang nakita kayong nanonood niyan Tita." Curious na tanong ko.

"May mga movies kasing kahit paulit-ulit mo nang napanood nandoon pa rin 'yong excitement at energy na para bang first time mo pa lang napapanood kaya ganoon." She answered so I just nodded. Their family loves to do a movie marathon every Friday night. It was like a bonding moment for their family so sometimes I get involved because Lola doesn't like to watch things like that because she says her eyes hurt a bit when she spends a lot of time focusing on TV, matanda na kasi.

"Hoy ano na namang ginagawa mo dito?" I heard a voice from the stairs. Their house is a two-storey house and there are only rooms upstairs, there is also a small terrace. Ours is only a one-storey but hey, it's wide and there's a big garden in the back.

When I looked there, it was Cristina's older brother, Jerald. He's a year older than us so I don't call him kuya anymore. Like I said before, they have another sister and that is the eldest but she is not here because she has a job and I just don't know where.

"Maka-'na naman' ka parang 'lagi akong nandito ah." I answered when he got down and sat down on their long sofa next to me.

"Eh sa araw-araw kong naririnig iyang boses mo sa labas at sa lakas niyon ay parang nandito sa loob galing 'yong boses mo." Sagot niya kaya tinampal ko ang noo niya.

"Maka-lait sa boses ko e 'di hamak na mas malakas at matinis ang boses ng kapatid mo kaysa sa akin!" I complaint.

"Sus e pareho lang naman kayo kaya huwag ka nang mag-reklamo, such a waste of saliva y'know." Sagot niya kaya napa-ismid ako.

"Speaking of saliva, mag-mumug ka nga muna! Amoy laway ka pa bwisit na 'to." I spoke angrily to him and moved away slightly to make the teasing more effective. 

"Yah! How dare you say that! Kaka-hilamos ko lang for your information!" Sigaw niya.
