Back in the cage is where you needed to make your final decision. You leaned against the bars and slid down a little bit. Hesitantly ringing your hands in confusion.

"I know this is a lot to take in, but the world outside is dying, (Y/N). Falling into darkness." Michael pleaded with sincerity.

"What do you want me to say?" You asked desperately.

"You already know." He nodded, and you did. But you needed more time. You looked away, near tears again. Could you really do this? "Okay. I get it. But Gabriel and Raphael are dead. God left me, his first born, to run heaven... and Lucifer... well, I think we all know why he shouldn't be given the chance to leave."

"So you're it." You muttered, you know maybe he was right. If everyone else was gone, who did we have?

"That's what I've been trying to tell you. I understand your hesitation with me. You don't know me. But what you do know is that the Darkness, she is the end of everything." Michael crouched down so he is face to face with you, "But I can beat her. We can beat her. You and me, together. Daddy-Daughter fight. Make the right choice. (Y/N), it's time to do what you were born for, it's time to save the world."

For a moment you thought maybe you could do it. For a second you were brought to the brink of saying yes. Michael had the control you always wanted with your power. But as you thought about the consequences, the thin line you danced across. The means that had to be taken to be justify the end. Would it all be worth it?

"No." Your voice answered quietly, "No."

"What do you mean no?" Michaels voice dropped a few octaves.

"You heard me." You spoke back. Regaining control of yourself. Remembering this was the man who almost started the apocalypse. The most cruel ruler of Heaven.

"Okay, now (Y/N), what you're doing here is selfish-" Michael's face twisted into a frown.

"You are done. It's over." You stood up, clenching your fist, angry beyond belief, "You know what? You talk a good game. You do. Hell, you almost had me sold a few times. But then I thought what if you're right? What if you're telling the truth? What if you can beat her?"

"I can!" Michael yelled, you held your hand out in front of you pushing him back into the back of his own cage.

"I was talking." You silenced him, then continued, "Last time it took you, plus three other archangels. Oh yeah, and God."

"One out of 5 is better than none at all. You'll be lost without me." Michael said.

"Well, let's say you gank her, which right now I'm not convinced you would be able to since I'm holding you to a wall right now, then what?" You walked closer.

"I go back up to running Heaven. End all the wars there, keep you at my side." Michael stopped struggling.

"Wrong. Then you go about starting the Apocalypse, again, because you're an old dog and that's your old trick." You pointed out exactly his plan.

"You don't know that. And even if I did that's better than what she has planned." Michael said.

"Is it? Really? 'Cause this is what I think: I think that whoever wins, you or the Darkness, everyone else loses. So, no. My answer is no." You firmly said to his face, putting a hand on his chest in the most condescending way possible, "This isn't because of Dean, or my past, or my destiny, this is about me having faith in my friends. We will find a way. I'm ready to die and I'm ready to watch people I love die, but I'm not ready to be your bitch."
