Sam and Dean ripped the excessive amount of duck tape off the door to be able to shuffle their way out of the sheltered police station. Dean held his old amulet in his open palm, the charm now glowing a bright white light. They were looking around, searching for the source of how and why it was on.

A man, who they recognized the fluffy brunettes back head of hair as he helped up a young girl from the street. She thanked him quickly and ran into her mothers arms. The man smiled at the reunion before turning around, revealing Chuck the Prophet. Dean looked down in his hand, seeing the amulet still on full power. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. Finally, Chuck finished the short walk to them.

"We should probably talk." Chuck smiled, happy to have revealed himself to them.

"What the hell's going on here, exactly?" Dean asked. Still not fully comprehending the meaning of the amulet yet.

"I'm happy to... fill in the blanks, but maybe we should go somewhere where we could actually sit down."

"We're not going anywhere with you. Okay, how do we even know that you're really Chuck and not just some—" Dean had begun to rant but slowed his voice down after Chuck snapped his fingers. Leaving them in the bunker where you sat at the front table. "crazy spell or manifest...ation."

"Sam, Dean? What's going on?" You stood up, looking at the man you didn't recognize. You couldn't read his face, confused by the light and power you could actually taste from him. You were so focused in on trying to read him that you didn't notice when a new presence was shown.

"Kevin?" Sam asked, a young asian kid appeared in regular clothes. But to you he was like a comic book character showing himself but he wasn't human.

"Guys! You're looking stressed. Especially you." Kevin said to Dean, and Dean returned with a less than enthused expression, "I-It's cool. Trust Chuck. Whatever it is he needs you to do, he must think you can handle it. I always trusted you."

"Yeah, that ended well." Dean said, emoting a mix of guilt, sadness and anger at himself.

"How did you – Are you okay, or – uh?" Sam asked, stepping forward.

"Um... Yeah, I mean, you know, given the circumstances." Kevin shrugged.

"Yeah, I don't mean to interrupt. Kind of a plateful here. And, Kevin... you've been in the Veil long enough. It's time you had an upgrade." The man you didn't recognize waved his hand and you watched as this boy Kevin transformed into soul-light before your eyes. The light danced and floated upwards, until eventually it ascended through the ceiling and the once strong presence of Kevin evaporated.

"Holy crap." You let out a sigh, "What the hell is happening?"

"Okay. So, wow, um, Chuck – Well, I guess we don't call you that, huh?" Sam began introducing you.

"I prefer it." Chuck nodded along, turning his face toward you.

"Okay, uh, "Chuck" it is." Sam chuckled to himself in disbelief, "Chuck this is (Y/N)—"

"Dean's girlfriend." Chuck finished, offering his hand to you as a warm welcome.

"Well, yeah. As great as he is, I'd hope I'd be known for something a little more than that one day." You half-joked.

"You will be." Chuck smiled, the moment his hand touched yours you understood. He was family. He was light. He was God.

"You're—" you started, so incredulous you couldn't let go of his hand.
