Chapter 32: Peter Pettigrew

a/n:  Welp I finished the chapter. It's not as long as usual but I wanted to finish this asap for you guys. Enjoy!

-Your POV-

Sirius and Lupin pulled Pettigrew out from the hole and pushed him away from the door. Pettigrew was sniveling for a second then looked up smiling.

"Remus? S-s-sirius? My old friends!" Pettigrew said opening his arms out like he wanted a hug before trying to run past both Lupin and Sirius. Lupin and Sirius easily stopped him and pushed him back. Pettigrew then started to look around when he saw Potter.

"H-harry. Y-you look so much like your father. Like James. We were the best of friends." Pettigrew started walking towards Harry.

"Yeah real good friends there rat." I said smirking while rolling my eyes.

"(y-y/n)?"

"How dare you speak to Harry and (y/n)! How dare you talk about him! How dare your talk about James to Harry." Sirius said while pushing Pettigrew away from Harry.

Pettigrew then was trying to get away until Lupin and Sirius cornered him around a old piano.

"You sold Jame and Lily to Voldemort didn't you?" Lupin asked still pointing his wand at Pettigrew.

"I-I didn't mean to. The dark lord. You have no idea what kind of weapons he possesses. Sirius what would you have done? What would you have done?"

"I would have died! I would have died rather than betray my friends."

Pettigrew then climbed under the piano and tried to run out the open door.

"Immobulus." I said and pointed my wand towards Pettigrew. "Really now do you think we or rather I would just let you leave that easily Pettigrew? You definitely aren't the smartest rat are you?"

Everyone just blinked a couple of times and sweat dropped.

"Honestly I don't know why we didn't think of that." Sirius said.

"It would have made this a lot easier now that I think about it." Remus said after Sirius. Both of them looking at each other.

"Now I could kill you. I'm sure everyone here wouldn't mind that idea. " I said with my eyes closed and smiling. My head was tilted slightly to the side. "But then again that would be too easy on you. No I have a better one. Let's take you back to Hogwarts."

"Are you serious (y/n)?! After everything this man has done. You are going to let him live?!" Harry yelled.

"You didn't let me finish. We take this rat to the dementors let them have their fun with this coward. Besides if I killed him now, no one would know the truth. I have nothing wrong with Sirius being free." I said.

"(y/n), you do care." Harry said.

"Look it's not for you. It's more for me having revenge on the person responsible for me having to spend 11 years of my life stuck with those muggles I am forced to call family. No way am I letting a chance like this escape me." I say while walking towards where Snape was.

"I trust you 5 can make sure that Pettigrew gets to the castle. I am going to stay back and make sure Professor Snape isn't too upset. Now get going before it gets too late. Especially you Lupin. Its a full moon tonight, and we all know what will happen."

Sirius then walked towards the still frozen Pettigrew and made sure that he couldn't run away once I undid the charm. 

"Alright we can take him to the castle. (y/n) I trust we will have a talk later." Sirius said. 

"Am I to assume that its about Draco? Because if you say anything bad about him or threaten him in anyway Sirius I might not be able to hold back." 

I swear I saw Sirius gulp. 

"Well yes I do want to talk about your umm choice in boyfriends however there are other things I wish to talk about. Mainly just to get to know you." 

"No offense Sirius, but I rather not if possible. I'm sure Draco's parents wouldn't want me talking to a convicted criminal, even though you are innocent." 

"But (y/n) he's our god father!" Harry said. 

"That doesn't matter Harry. Not to me at least. My guardians since the end of first year have been the Malfoys. Besides after living with those horrid muggles for 11 years, I really don't like people in general. Leave now before Snape comes to I really don't feel like having to deal with a bigger headache. Draco you can either stay with me and wait for Snape to come to or you can leave with everyone else." I said

"(y/n) I'll stay with you. Besides Snape will not be happy when he wakes up and I rather not leave you alone with an angry Snape." 

I nodded to Draco. While everyone else left. Lupin was making sure Pettigrew couldn't escape by pointing his wand to him. While Harry and Sirius were help Ron walk. Once they were out of ear shot I sighed. 

"You alright there (y/n)?" Draco asked me while hopping on the piano top to sit. 

"Just relieved that they are gone. I know playing nice was important however dealing with so many Gryffindors at once was annoying. Also I wouldn't sit on that old piano."

"Why?"

Before I could answer the old piano caved under Draco's weight causing him to fall and hit his butt on the ground. I couldn't help but laugh a little at that. 

"That's why. It wasn't stable." 

"Oh ha ha. Very funny (y/n). Now can you help me up?" Draco said while rolling his eyes. 

"Draco you're a big boy I am sure you can get yourself up."

"No, I'm stuck. Now please help me out of this pile of junk." 

I couldn't help but laugh harder at the fact that Draco was stuck.

"Alright, I'll help you. " I said while jokingly calling Draco a "Daddy's boy."

"What did you call me (y/n)?" Draco said playfully. 

"You heard me. Daddy's boy." I said while offering my hand to Draco. 

"My father will hear about this." Draco said while smirking. 

I just shook my head at Draco while smiling.

"You use that line way too much Draco." 

Draco just smirks before pulling me into a hug. 

"Perhaps however you know as well as I do that my father can be. To put it simply, persuasive."

"I can't deny that. " 

Draco and I then hear groaning and saw Snape getting out from under a pile of debris. 

To say Snape was angry was an understatement.   He was dusting himself off while mumbling a few choice curses. 

"Oh boy explaining everything to Snape is going to be fun." I whisper to Draco. 

Snape then notices Draco and I. 

"You two! Explain now what happened. And where is everyone else?"

"Well sir, Potter attacked you and knocked you out. And while you were unconscious we found out that Weasley's  was actually Peter Pettigrew. And that he was actually the one to sell out the Potter's to the dark lord. So the other are taking Pettigrew to the castle as we speak." I said. 

Snape nodded and said. "Let's go then. I have a few words for Mr. Potter and the rest of them." 

Draco and I nodded as Snape lead the way back to the castle.
