(Link's P.O.V)

I got up early around the same time the sun was rising over the Capital. I made breakfast (simple eggs and toast) then sat by the window, watching the street. At that time, a few lone Hylian men and women walked about, some carrying fruit or a piece of toast with them to eat on the way.

A lady who lives in an apartment across the street told me how, when the Summer Harvest Festival comes, many Hylians see it as their chance to get a quick job. Even if it was only for a few days, it was a paying job nonetheless. She told me how her and her friends would wonder around the markets while they set up, pretty much begging Amadahians for work.

Mr. Abberline told me something similar once when explaining the festival to Amber and I when we were kids. He said Amadahians rather not work hard labor and they saw Hylians as the perfect workers.

When I walked around the festival grounds, I noticed Hylians were working most the tables. The streets quickly filled with people who hoped to buy what they needed before every market stand ran out. I decided that, for that day only, I'd buy some things as well. Not only do I need to buy more food anyways, but I also miss the sweet taste of fresh fruits and vegetables that I use to eat all the time back in my village. If I get everything in the morning hours, I hopefully won't run into anyone I don't want to talk to.

(No One's P.O.V.)

Through the crowds, Princess (Y/n) weaved her way to the center of the Capital, Liam following her quickly. She never told him what her plan was to 'fix' everything nor what 'everything' was. All he knew was that she was very determined to make it to the center of town where she'd make some kind of announcement.

While the morning was young, (Y/n) wanted to leave the castle before anyone had a chance to stop her. This plan was very important, one she came up with in hopes that it could, indeed, help with her currant problems she faced.

She stopped at the main fountain, lifting herself onto the limestone walls then turning to face the people walking busily all around. As for Liam, he stood off to the side, watching her every movement. He couldn't deny, he was curious yet worried at the same time.

"May I have all of your attention!" Her voice manged to echo out all the loud noises of the Capital, stopping many people in their tracks. The others who continued to go on with their days soon stopped when seeing the girl take off her sunglasses, allowing them to see she wasn't a simple random girl, but their very own Princess.

At the sight of her, everyone came to a stop, their eyes glued to their Princess like she was Hylia herself who had just descended from the clouds above. Many whispered; pleasant compliments among the Amadahians and not-so-pleasant hearsay among Hylians. The second he reconsidered the voice, Link turned his own full attention to his friend.

"I, Princess (Y/n) of Amadahy,  have an announcement to make that is of great importance," the Princess's eyes scanned over the crowd, taking note of the way people stared at her. Never had the younger princess ever made a public announcement before on her own. Even Ethan and Sienna had only made a few by themselves. To see the youngest princess outside castle grounds was enough of shock on its own to make people turn heads.

"As Princess of this kingdom, I find it as my job to protect my people no matter age, gender, or even race. In the currant world we live in, there are two races that are separated by controversy. Hylians and Amadahians. Throughout my years of being alive, I've seen hate be shared between the two, hate that I believe could be avoided.

"I, myself, am Amadahian. I was born into a high ranking family where I was taught how to think about this world, but lately, I've noticed the ways I've been taught are wrong. I was taught that there is a great difference between Hylians and Amadahians. Yes, we do have our differences, however, everyone does. In the end, we all have the same feelings and emotions. We all have families and friends in whom we love. There's nothing wrong with being Hylian or Amadahian. We're all alike!

"That's why, with the power I hold, I declare that there will be a ceremony in which a law shall be signed making it to where Hylians and Amadahians are seen as one! There will no longer be a divider between our races. Opposite race friends can be together in peace, lovers can marry without worry of being out-cased," Link swore he saw (Y/n)'s eyes met his, the words she spoke being only said for his ears to hear; not anyone else's.

After the very short pause, the female torn her gaze away, going back to talk to her people as a whole," I pray that the H.R.F. will hear these words I say and help me make it to where this hate we hold for each other shall be finally let go! To break the separation of both our people!"

In no time at all, the Capital turned into a shouting mess. Amadahians were disgusted, Hylians questioned if this was all some joke. Link himself stood shocked. Of course, (Y/n) cared for Hylians, but this...this was taking everything a dangerous step farther. The most shocking thing of all what that she knew the H.R.F.. The teen had to rewind what happened in his head, making sure he did hear her right. How did (Y/n) know of the H.R.F.? He thought the royal family didn't know of them!

(Y/n)'s eyes shot around in alarm when seeing everyone arguing and yelling around her. She knew some would be angry, but not everyone," p-please, calm down-!"

She was cut off when Liam had taken her hand, ripping her down from the fountain wall into his arms. He set her down then pulled her through the riled crowds quickly, not giving her time to object," we have to go."

Other guards who normally patrolled the area pushed everyone aside, making it their first priority to get the Princess back to the castle safely, keeping those who yelled at her away. Within seconds she had disappeared into the crowds, leaving the mess behind her.

Amadahians screamed at Hylians, claiming they'd never be seen as apart of them. Hylians cursed back, saying they'd never want to be seen along side such evil anyways. It didn't take long at all for physical fights to break out, that and rampages. People broke market stands, even setting them, along with some nearby shops, ablaze. Women ran with crying children, their husbands, fathers, or any other calling after them to lock themselves somewhere safe.

Link wanted to run after (Y/n), to protect her in case she was attacked herself, but that was impossible to do from where he was. There were too many people pushing and shoving; he could hardly get around. Liam and the guards were with her, chances were, (Y/n) was much safer under their watch than his own anyways.

Wasting no time, he did his best to push through everyone, running towards the Gemstone Tavern. Lil was going to need help. Link had no clue if Aryan, Zelda or any other H.R.F. member was with the girl who would no doubt have Hylian-hating  Amadahians coming to the tavern doorstep.

...By only ten in the morning, the whole Capital looked like the scene of a war...
