(Y/n) unwrapped most the bandages, redoing them so that they weren't only tighter, but neater, too. She did my forehead, ankles and wrists, asking me repeatedly if they felt aright. I always said 'yes'. I must admit, she was much better at this than Liam and me. Maybe girl's just have a softer touch when it comes to making other's feel better.

She sat with her legs crossed, my head resting on her lap. The whole time she worked, I stared up at her, taking note on how focused she was. Her hair hung down, occasionally tickling my face before she'd pull the strands back behind her ear. Her eyes managed to glitter even in the dark, following her hands and the bandage ends in case she was to make a mistake.

When the bandages were finished, she carefully put everything away in the metal box, closing it then running a hand through my hair," that's the best I can do for now. Even though we're out of the castle, we still got to be carefully. When they notice either one of us are gone, the whole castle and Capital will be put on lock-down."

"So, we're not staying here?"

"We can't. Chances are, they'll search every home and business in the city. I bet, when they see you aren't anywhere around the castle, your old village will be the next place to search so that's out of the option, too."

I reached up, setting a hand on hers," where do you think we should hide? I could imagine everyone forgetting about me at some point, but you're their princess. They'll always keep an eye out for you even years from now."

"I know. We should travel away from here. We'll find somewhere to stay, I'm sure of it," she smiled, holding her hair back and leaning down to kiss my forehead.

I sat up, turning around and capturing her lips," okay."

Ethan sighed, running a hand through his messy red hair. He wore only a white dress shirt, his tie hanging over his shoulders. Quietly, he opened the door to Sienna's room, smiling slightly when seeing her peaceful asleep for once. On most nights, she was still up, working over something that could surely be put to the side until the next day.

Almost every night, Ethan would be wide awake at his desk, working on assessments his father gave him. Sometimes, he was up later than the King himself, wanting to do a pleasing job to impress the man.

On those nights, he'd check on every one of his siblings. It was an old habit of his in which, as he found, was impossible to try and break. His sisters meant the world to him, after all.

He sighed when peeking into Brook's room, staring at the empty spot on her bed. Part of him hoped that, one night, she'd be there, although, it was a painful fact that such hopes would never become true.

The last room belonged to the sister he always worried about. Really, the habit of checking on his siblings first came due to (Y/n). Sienna and Brook never worried him as much since nothing had ever happened to them. With (y/n), he feared that many of things could happen.

Slowly, he opened her door, peering inside the room. Most the time, she was lying in her bed, fast asleep, that or reading a book. This time, the bed was completely empty, and the window was wide open. Ethan's heart almost stopped in its place.

"(Y/n)?!" He raced to the window, looking outside at the blanket rope that waved lightly in the wind, then spun to face the room again," (Y/n), where are you?!"

"Your highness...?" A random maid poked her head through the doorway, frowning at the sight of the future-king crawling on the ground to look under the Princess's bed before hurrying over to the closet, throwing it open.

"Have you seen Princess (Y/n) in the halls?!" He yelled at the maid, causing her to jump, hanging her head low in fear.

"N-No, your highness-"

"-Get my father and Princess Sienna! Princess (Y/n)'s gone!"

The maid, not wanting to be yelled at any farther, disappeared to do as she was ordered. Meanwhile, Ethan stood to his feet, holding his head in his hands while trying to keep his tears from falling.

"...This can't be happening...Not again..." He whispered under his breath, shaking his head rapidly.

Sienna came first, taking one glance at her distraught brother. That's all it took for her to know something was wrong," where's (y/n), Ethan? Where's our sister?"

"...She's gone..." Ethan blinked away the tears, closing his eyes as tight as he could.

"Gone? No, she can't be gone," Sienna shook her head, looking around the room," maybe she went for a walk around the halls or-"

"-It's just like when we were kids, Sienna! They killed someone close to us then took (Y/n)!" Ethan screamed, glaring at his twin sister who stepped back.

"W-Who do you mean by 'they'?"

"Those damned Hylians! They killed Brook like they killed Queen Rosaleen then kidnapped (Y/n) all the same! Just like 13 years ago!" Ethan made a fist, not being able to hold back the tears any longer.

Sienna sucked in her breath, covering her mouth with her hand,"...n...no..."

Both twins had lived through the effects of losing their beloved step-mother and almost their own sister. It was a time where everything was on edge especially in the Capital area. Anyone who lived around the time of Queen Rosaleen's murder would easily remember how King Adrian took it.

The whole castle and city was swarming with guards. Every single one was forced to work overtime until they found the lost princess either dead or alive. The King was only moments away from turning his anger on all Hylians if it weren't for his daughter being returned safe and sound thanks to Gregory's little boy.

Ethan and Sienna knew a Hylian was held responsible for Brook's death. What if it was all some plan to get (y/n)? Neither knew what their sister's kidnappers had in mind the first time they took her, so they had no clue this time of whether she'd be killed or tortured? Oh, and how the King will take it...They could only pray (Y/n) showed up before his fury was let loose...
