Link woke up with a start when remembering what happened. Sitting up, his eyes went wide," (Y/N)!!!"

"I'm fine. No need to shout," Turning to his side, he met the sight of the Princess sitting beside his bed, smiling slightly.

Opening his mouth, he stopped himself from asking anything before getting a good look around the room they were in.

The walls around them were made of nice, clean, wood unlike back at the inn and the bedding was very soft in compassion. The only light came from a large window on the opposite side to where (Y/n) sat.

She put a hand over his, bringing Link's attention back to her," we're not back in Capital, if that's what you're worried about."

"W-Where are we then?" Link pulled her into an embrace, resting his chin on her shoulder and staring forward," what happened last?"

"We're in Anicetus, I guess," (Y/n) returned the hug," I woke up a bit ago. A man came by and explained a little more than the three we met did. He said the Queen knows about the two of us and assured me we'd be perfectly safe here. Whoever the Queen is, she doesn't sound like she means any harm by the way he talked. We're supposed to go speak with her once you get up."

"And you trust them?" Link pulled away to see her face as she nodded slowly.

"They've already gotten us here. We might as well take the chance to ask questions when the time is handed to us."

"I'll follow your lead."

The two walked down the halls hand-in-hand, cautious of their surroundings. No one guarded the door to their room nor did they see a single soul in the hallway. They could've easily run away, however, (Y/n) seemed fixed on meeting this 'Queen'.

Their short trip brought them to people finally. Two women stood on each side of the oncoming door. They both wore the same outfit as the woman had earlier and the same paint surrounded their right eyes. One whispered something to the other who nodded, squeezing into the next room quickly.

"Devirra ev'uoy neeuQ eht llet ot tnew sah dneirf ym. Ereh tiaw esaelp," the woman who stayed behind spoke with a bright smile on her lips, bowing.

Link and (Y/n) both raised eyebrows," s-sorry?"

"Em esucxe?" The woman looked shocked as well, her eyes wide when the two had spoken," ni uoy tel ot yako eht deen ew. Ereh er'uoy neeuQ eht llet ot tnew sah ehs."

Link and (Y/n) shook their heads, causing the woman to bite down on her lip, glancing around awkwardly when mumbling more words under her breath.

Soon, the other girl returned, bowing as well," retne yam uoy syas neeuQ eht."

Before they could ask, the first girl shook her head, putting a hand on the guard's shoulder," modgnik rieht morf ton stI. Egaugnal ruo dnatsrednu t'nod yeht."

They both looked to Link and (Y/n) questionably then held the door open, not bothering to try and say anything else. When passing, they could still feel the two's eyes focused on them curiously as they spoke quiet words to each other.

The room wasn't as big as the throne room back in the Capital Castle but was definitely big enough. The door they went through came from the side, making the two must turn to see who they were going to speak.

A woman sat on the throne, a large window behind herself casting light and a man standing at her side. Both their eyes followed the two's movements until they stood before themselves.

She wore a long cream, gold, and maroon dress which fell from her arms. A golden and sapphire piece held her bangs back as her ponytail was draped over her shoulder on the opposite side.

"I must say," her voice was very calm and, luckily, she spoke a language they could understand. The only difference was she had the same accent," I expected you'd look like Rosaleen, but not as much as you do. You're an exact copy of her."

"You know my mother?" (Y/n)'s eyes went wide yet also lit up.

The woman smiled," and I know you, your father, and siblings...It's safe to stay I know your whole family really."

"Who are you?" Link asked, narrowing his eyes slightly. He couldn't be blamed for being suspicious of these people, could he?

"Queen Aeshia of Anicetus. It's a pleasure to finally meet you both. The word is that the two of you ran away after some...let's just say unfortunate events. Such a fuss its caused."

"My father is going crazy, isn't he?" (Y/n) worried. Aeshia nodded sadly.

"He is, I won't lie. Serves him right, though, so don't fret. What a fool that man is. He thinks he can out run karma despite how many times its found its way back to him."

"Have you met?"

"Met? Goddesses know how much I wish we hadn't," she laughed, peering at the man at her side in the corner of her eyes," go ahead and introduce yourself. Trust can't be built upon mystery."

The man tensed yet nodded quickly. Stepping forward, he dropped to his knee and placed a hand over his heart," my name is Aatto. My job is not only to protect this kingdom's Queen, but to also be its second in command."

"Lord Aatto is loyal. If you need anything throughout your time of staying here, feel free to ask him," Aeshia waved a hand," Aatto, I've told you before and I'm sure you've figured, but this is Her Royal Highness Princess (Y/n) and Sir Link."

"...Sir?" Link whispered under his breath, scrunching his nose.

"Your kind is seen as equal here, therefore, you shall take your proper title. As the son of Sir Rowley and Lady Idla, the appropriate title for you would be 'sir'."

"You...know my parents, too? How do you know my parents, too!?" Link could understand her knowing (Y/n)'s family since they're all royals, but what does his family have to do with this?

Aeshia frowned, Aatto whispering something in her ear. With a huff, she rested her hand in her hand," what is with these families and never mentioning me to their children. Have I not earned the honor for everything I've done? Even if they said bad things about me, at least it would've been something. Well then, I shall have to fill you both in."

(Y/n) and Link looked to each other, holding hands," now then, which one of you would like to go first? Since you're dating, I'm sure you won't mind the other hearing your family story."

Link turned to (Y/n) who bowed her head, looking to him," you can go first. You said you barely knew anything about your family and this is your chance to change that. Besides, I don't want to hear about my family."

"Why not?" Aeshia was the only one who didn't look shocked out of the four of them.

"You know how my family is. Why learn of more bad things they've done when it already hurts to be related? I'd rather the information be kept away from me," she glanced at the Queen.

"I won't force you to listen, however, you could always come to me if you change your mind later."

"Thank you," she didn't sound like she considered it much.

Link held her hand tightly, facing Aeshia," I'd like to hear whatever you have to say about my family."

The Royal nodded, telling Aatto to go get something. When he returned, he handed an old, dull-purple book over to Link. On the front, golden writing read: Idla♡
