Jiang smiled so brightly as he studied this two siblings every reaction, It was then he felt eyes on him but was too scared to turn because he knew too well who was at the direction the stare was coming from after all just a moment ago Jiang was staring at the boy or should he say man who had his fiery red eyes closed as if he was slumbering.

As the emperor stared intently at Jiang, Jiang shivered slightly, he couldn't help but wonder why the emperor was staring at him, he had stopped laughing the moment he felt those eyes on him, Jiang wondered if perhaps the emperor was mad at him for laughing at a situation he didn't find funny at all.
"This will be the six contestants competing for the empress elect position" The chief eunuch announced and the eyes that were on Jiang moved towards the direction the announcement came from,Jiang didn't realize until he released his breathe that he was even holding it in the first place, he felt relieved that the emperor had stopped staring at him but at the same time he felt oddly disappointed, he couldn't help but feel disgruntled and this attitude of his made him feel uneasy.
"The empress elect should please take note of the following " The chief eunuch said as he bowed slightly towards Jiang,Jiang wasn't the empress yet so the chief eunuch didn't see the need to give a deep bow, he didn't have to be so courteous.
Jiang looked at the chief eunuch seriously because he knew what was about to be said was something of great importance, something pertaining to the competition.
"Due to the empress elect current power and in other to make the competition fair the empress elect will start to compete with the contestant with the lowest to the highest realm, Which means the order of the contestants the empress elect will have to battle with is as follows, Wang Xiu" The chief eunuch called out and Wang Xiu stepped out of the straight line all contestants were made to form and waved at the audience with a sluggish smile splattered on her face, the commoners kept hailing her name while not caring about their voice until she stepped back in line.
The chief eunuch continued calling out the rest, Wang Wei had an arrogant look while Liu Yang had a gentle smile, this two were in the same realm but had different ranks, As for Zhang Min and Zhang Feiyan they both looked indifferent while Liang Na looked cold, arrogant and smug, she was the empress elect final opponent if the empress elect survived all her other five opponents
"The competition will start in two months time with the empress elect battling her first contestant, after the battle if she survives and win she will be given two weeks to rest before her next battle, Also a specific date won't be fixed for this battles, which means the empress elect have to always be alert" The chief eunuch said seriously and Jiang sighed deeply, the struggle for him to live had really began.
"Dismissed" one word was said by a deep voice that gave people the chills yet sent them into a fantasy world, that voice belonged to none other but the emperor, Jiang wanted to turn towards the man and take a final look at his indifferent manly face that gave off a fiery yet heroic aura but didn't have the guts to do so.
