"You can stay here for as long as you want, also you don't have to give back that medallion to Fang Mu anymore since I gave it to him" the emperor somehow summoned the medallion from where Jiang had hid it like it was nothing then he did something to it, which made the medallion seem like certain chains were been removed from locking it down, once he was done he handed it over to Jiang and then placed his hands on Jiang's shoulders, looked straight into his eyes and said "Now you have free access to every part of my Huang palace, no place will prove dangerous to you as long as you have that medallion, you can also use the ascension pond whenever you like although it's effect won't be that noticeable like when it is used the first time" after saying all those things the emperor then released his hands from Jiang's shoulders and then stood up in all his naked glory, Jiang shyly looked away, certain thoughts began to resurface in his mind, Jiang doesn't realize that it is this his helpless, shy, innocent and confused actions that drive the emperor crazy and makes him adore Jiang even more.

The emperor controlled his desires, picked up a bathing robe hanging at a corner, wore it over his body, loosely tied the rope in the middle of the robe to form a knot and then continued to say "When you want to leave you should use the medallion to show you the part to take because if you take the wrong part you might just end up in a place you don't want to be, also I will be leaving the imperial palace for a bit, however, be good and stop having wild thoughts about running away while I am gone, don't worry, I won't keep you waiting and missing me for too long" the emperor smirked after saying this, leaving the stunned Jiang to himself.

"Who will miss you? Conceited scoundrel" Jiang finally got his voice out to retort at the emperor's retreating back, he watched as the emperor happily laughed at his expense, soon he was out of Jiang's viewing range.

Once the emperor was gone Jiang's state of mind went back to its frenzied state, he had just though in passing about his previous plan to leave the palace, Jiang was deliberating about whether it was necessary anymore since his main reason for wanting to leave the palace had already been discovered by the emperor and his fears of been killed didn't come to pass either, however, Jiang didn't expect that the emperor who had made it a habit of reading Jiang's mind recently caught onto his thoughts and even warned him not to run away. This was an unexpected outcome.
