CHAPTER 62- WRONGED

The whole Huang Palace was silver in color and towered to the sky, Jun Tang manor couldn't even hold a candle to this one, it was a heaven and earth difference in both size, length and height

The palace sometimes had mist surrounding it but the strange thing about the mist was that it changes colors on intervals, sometimes it was pink mist, then it did change color to blue and so on, also there were moments that the mist will clear up completely and then you could see the amazing palace in the sky.

Jiang found this really fascinating, he believed that the emperor really had good taste.

Fang Mu busted his bubbles by indicating that those mist he admired so much were poisonous and should be avoided at all cost, only when the mist cleared was it safe to venture towards the palace and also one still needed a kind of permit.

Once the mist unclouded, the palace in the sky could be clearly viewed by Jiang, the intricate designs on the outside walls of the palace were so detailed and clear that he wondered how that was even possible from the distance which he stood.

Also the exterior wall of the palace where covered with precious glittering beautiful gemstones and different spirit mana stones of the highest grade were neatly stuck on several parts of the wall making the environment to have an oppressive atmosphere, the mana around Huang palace was so abundant and was of all elements to the point that it suffocated Jiang at some point even though he was miles away from the palace in the sky he still felt overwhelmed and fell flat on his face, as he tried to knee, he could only manage to do that on one knee, his face was as pale as death, Fang Mu had to step in front of him to dispel the overabundant mana in the air before Jiang could breathe unobstructed again.

"I knew when you said you wanted to take this empress elect to take a stroll it was to do away with me, Have the emperor finally given his order to have me killed, is he tired of playing games? but just so you know, I won't go down without a fight" Jiang deadpan said as he struggled a bit to stand up on his feet

Emperor Qin Jie Huang believed that his hand had been squashed mercilessly when he heard Jiang's words "He doesn't feel safe around me" his soul was aggrieved and bitter because in Jiang words he could perceive his hate, rage, and distrust.

Fang Mu as if feeling his friend's plummeting aura could only come to his defense.

"With due respect empress elect stop talking nonsense, If the emperor wanted your death he won't have to go through so much trouble to achieve his goal, do not flatter yourself" Fang Mu sounded defensive and vexed, Jiang stared at his back with envious eyes, he was envious that the emperor had someone like Fang Mu as a friend, he didn't even have that.
