RECAP

When he got to the east wing he immediately located his room, went inside, removed his outer robes that had been stained and then he fell on the bed. He was out in a matter of seconds.

At the crack of dawn Jiang was already standing in the middle of the northern wing courtyard, shaking with excitement as he couldn't wait to start. He noted that his level of excitement hadn't reached these proportions when he first arrived at Yang province.

He discovered that the basic air element chant he once used to escape from Yue valley to Yang province was a basic technique that could be used by all elementals at the beginning of cultivation. The technique he was going to be taught now was a superior grade technique; it was the best of the best and couldn't be easily gotten.

When he woke up in the middle of the night he decided to look through the information that was now in his mind and he found out something surprising in the introduction part of the technique; that is this technique could only be gotten at no difference pavilion.

He had earlier wondered why treatment of people in the no difference pavilion at Jiang Jeil city and the one at the main palace was so different. How was everybody treated equally at the no difference pavilion situated in the main palace when anyone could flaunt their power and beat the crap out of others just like the Wang siblings did to him, the main palace no difference pavilion was unlike the one in Jiang Jeil city.

Jiang's admiration for no difference pavilions had died after his ordeal with the dumb siblings at the no difference pavilion in the main palace but after reading this introduction part in the piercing tornado dance technique it was rekindled again, this time even to the extent of blind devotion. If the creators of no difference pavilions were as he heard in the rumors, then the emperor and his friend might not be as bad as he thought.

In the no difference pavilion at the main palace, anyone could obtain a superior grade technique as long as they were recognized by the technique itself. It was hard to obtain any particular technique but a commoner had once been chosen by a superior grade technique and currently he was one of the emperor's aids.

Every superior grade technique in no difference pavilion had the same type of introduction because the creator of the technique wanted the chosen owner to know the importance of the technique as well as how important they are to be chosen by the technique.

Jiang at first had some reservations about obtaining this technique so easily, he also wondered how Jun Tang could get such a technique and if he could even teach him. However due to how amazing the technique was, his reservations quickly disappeared and what remain was the zeal and excitement of learning something so awesome.

With this technique he could deal with individuals that were a level above him upon mastery, Jiang couldn't wait so he came here at the crack of dawn. He didn't have to wait long since Jun Tang soon came out of his room "You are here?"

"Master, it's only right that I am here before you." Jun Tang rolled his eyes at Jiang for the first time as he thought "By the time I am done with you, you won't be this energized and excited." Jiang was all smiles, he had even started seeing Jun Tang as his savior as this technique really came at the perfect time for his first match was fast approaching.

Jun Tang actually got that technique for the young mistress Lei Yue because he wanted her to better protect herself for he knew he couldn't stop the competition even if he wanted to but at least he could do this much for her.

She was the person he had deemed worthy to stand by his side and he couldn't believe now that he once considered Liang Na as the one most fitted for that position.

Then he wasn't thinking with his heart he was only thinking of power but now he didn't mind if his Yuer was strong or not, he just wants her by his side but he also knew that without strength, she couldn't stay by his side.

"I will let you call me master during the duration of time that I will be training you but after that I won't stand for it" Jun Tang sternly said which left Jiang dumbfounded for quite a while "What is wrong with him now" Jiang grumbled.

You couldn't blame Jun Tang for acting like that, he always felt like he was an old man anytime he heard Jiang address him as master because most masters in Tang Qin Shang are usually oldies with grey hair and all. Don't ask him why it was like that but that's just the way it was.

Anyway, since his Yuer was doing it out of total respect he compromised but only until when he finished training her.

"The piercing tornado dance is a technique that performs three functions and that's why even among superior grade techniques it is considered the best. If up till now you do not know those three functions then it's indeed useless to teach you any further." Jun Tang said no more and just stared deeply into Jiang's beautiful bright phoenix eyes.

"Master this humble disciple knows that the piercing tornado dance technique can be considered three techniques in one, it can not only attack but can defend and also be used as a movement technique." Jiang was feeling a bit jittery because Jun Tang didn't respond to his answer immediately, he wondered if he had made a mistake.

"Good, now follow me" Jun Tang said as he led Jiang to a forest region that was located inside the manor and just directly behind the northern wing courtyard. The forest was misty so Jiang could barely see while his body shivered due to the early morning cold breeze that constantly caressed his exposed skin.

"Disciple starting from today you will be running with those iron sand bags for two shichen, it will help the bones of your leg more sturdy and lighter but that's not all, there are other benefits you will get so there is no rush because as time goes by all will be made clear to you. Begin!" Jun Tang said and Jiang hurried to tie the iron sand bags on his legs, then he began running through the misty forest.

Jiang can no longer count how many times he had bumped on a fallen tree in the forest, then stumbling to the ground or hit his whole body against a tree in front of him just because he couldn't see. Each day his body was full with wounds and the iron sand bags been tied to his legs and arms were continuously increased, so was the training time increased from two shichen directly to four.

The first day Jiang was made to run for four shichen and he fainted face first onto the ground once he was done. His eyes began to turn blurry as he saw a blurry figure of a man with black robes, a hood over his head and a silver mask covering his face, said person lifted him from the ground and carried him princess style, Jiang lost consciousness with a smile on his lips.
