RECAP

General Lei really hated this mother and child pair to the bone for not been of any use to him at all. His beloved wife that had a strong family backing her and brought nothing but fortune to him was still angry with him after so many years and he had to pay a lot of price to appease her daily bases.

#####

General Lei after seeing his threat worked he turned to Jiang's mother that was now on her last breath and threw a pill on her mother, Jiang knew this thing must be good so he rushed and picked it up and fed it to his mother, all she could do was lay there with closed eyes as her son tried to take care of her the best way he could. The pill wasn't so good but at the very least it kept her alive, when she was feeling better and woke up she hurriedly knelled down and dragged Jiang to knee with her before the general's feet, she didn't dare to look up at his face while saying, "Thank you for graciously saving this undeserving servant's life, may the general's kind deeds be blessed by the heavens."

General Lei completely ignored her statement "I only did that because my beloved doesn't want you dead yet." Little Jiang couldn't understand why his father will say such mean words to his mother or why he will do such evil things to her. His little heart was broken and pained and dark feelings full of resentment were beginning to grow within.

"As punishment for trying to frame my children your living expenses going forward will be provided for by yourself. Never come to find me because I do not know such cursed people, since I got entangled in your schemes to rise to power, my life have been miserable." He huffed in anger.

"My lord I won't ever ask you for anything, we will live like we do not exist but just this once save my child from the poison eating at him from the inside and destroying his looks, save him from the poison this useless mother unintentionally passed onto him during child because he is yours and is just an innocent child my lord." General was so angry that he almost coughed blood.

General Lei didn't think this useless peasant woman knew so much. Although his wife was discreet about her dealings, he was well aware of her poisoning Jiang's mother when she was pregnant and he did nothing to stop her. He believed she was allowed to vent out, when Jiang's mother eventually didn't die as planned but instead shared the poison with the child which made the child a trash his wife seemed to have changed her mind about killing them immediately. She preferred this outcome and he kept silent in support as he would do anything to please his beloved.

Madam Lei never did the dirty work herself, she didn't mind sending her children to kill off someone while she pretended to be benevolent and gracious but then again she wasn't good at been deceitful as she though she was. General Lei didn't really mind if she was a saint or the devil as long as she kept supporting him she will forever own his heart.

"What nonsense are you spilling from that foul mouth of yours!" He said and then angrily strolled off, He felt like if he stayed some more he will be really tempted to wipe out this woman and the vile spouse she dared to call his, General Lei's body bumped into the little kneeling Jiang on his way out of there but he didn't care to even take a look at him despite knowing fully well that he might have caused some damage to the little guy's body. Jiang didn't utter any sound though he was hurt, he didn't dare to because his father had told him the consequences of making a sound.

That day was the last time Jiang saw his father again until he was summoned to take his sister's place.

Once the general was out of sight a robust woman came out with both Lei Yue and Lei Chow by her side. Jiang although very little could understand that his father had casted them away thoroughly as a show of good fate to this mother and her children, he must have known that they were in the shadows and watching.

"Such a good show" The woman said as she smiled sweetly towards both mother and child direction, Jiang couldn't tell at first who the woman was but the way she looked at them sent shivers down his spine, he was on guard. also after he saw his siblings beside her he understood immediately that she was the legitimate wife of the general's manor.

"This is just the beginning, by the time I am done with you despicable mother and child, you will both regret been born to this world, getting this ugly child married off as a pet is too good of a punishment for you slut Qinqin. " Madam Lei said and then she lifted Qinqin face whose head had been facing the ground to face hers, Qinqin skin was very pale and she was so thin due to her sickness, although she was given a pill by the general to heal her wounds but the pill was of the lowest quality and could only keep her alive, it barely closed the injury on her shoulder even the bruises on the rest of her body was still slightly visible.

Madam Lei sneered as she pushed one of her right finger into the barely closed hole on Qinqin shoulder that was caused by the spikes, while doing this she stared into Jiang's mother's face. Madam Lei didn't want to miss any of Jiang's mothers pained expression. she couldn't let a day go by without torturing this woman.

Jiang wanted to go to his mother when he saw how much she was been wronged but his mother stopped him with the wave of her hand and when madam Lei got bored she naturally stopped her cruel actions.

"Living all his life alone and unable to approach people due to his hideous looks seems like a more fitting ending for a child that shouldn't have existed to begin with and you knowing that he will live in such a manner even after you die is my revenge to you for trying to steal my husband." Madam Lei said as she stepped over Qinqin, followed by her son and daughter who did the same while leaving.

Jiang's mother felt wronged but she couldn't say anything, she really didn't seduce him, it was the other way around, the master of the house lusted after her beauty and then forced himself on her.

Madam Lei knew the truth, she knew Jiang's mother didn't try to steal her husband, she knew her husband had forced himself of the fascinating, beautiful Qinqin but she didn't care for all those details, as long as she was concerned it was Qinqin's fault for been so beautiful and enchanting.

Jiang had shut all this awful memory away, there was also another memory he locked away, it was the day his mother got buried by a stranger since the General's manor wouldn't do it. After the stranger left some servants from the Lei Manor came over to dig out his mother's corpse, Jiang wanted to stop them but was held down by another. "Madam Lei said we should tell you that she will like to send your mother off in a grand way" Then before little Jiang's eyes they torn his mother's body to pieces and then fed it to a nine tailed fox mystic beast. This mystic beast was tamed by madam Lei since she was a beast elemental, and only cultivators who possessed the element to tame could control mystic beasts as well as gift out or sell such tamed beast.

Beast elementals didn't need to make a contract with the mystic beast that they tamed before controlling them but a cultivator that was buying such beast from a beast elemental must make a contract with the beast so that the beast will only listen to his orders, Once this contract is made even the beast elemental that first tamed the beast wont be able to control it again.

Strong beast elementals were as sort after like alchemist elementals because if they could tame strong beast then that beast could be bought and used in a fight. If a weak person is able to have such a strong tamed beast and make a contract with it then such person could easily fight against an opponent of the same cultivation level as its beast partner. Tamed beast selling was a lucrative business and one of the reasons General Lei cherished his wife so much was simply because she was a huge spirit stones bag, How could he not love such a woman?, To General Lei she was the fairest beauty in all of Tang Qin Shang even if in actuality she really wasn't.
