After receiving a new room key, which took hours because the locksmith couldn't make his magic work and actually forgot his wand, you finally were allowed back into your room.  You plop down the bed face first.  Draco was off with his parents taking a tour around the island, leaving you alone.

"Draco's dad really does have those dark objects Father was talking about," you say to yourself.  "What do I do?  I can't betray Draco's trust... "

Suddenly something begins to glow from your drawer across the room.  The crystal...  You begrudgingly get up and slouch your way over to your dresser and open the drawer.  "It must be a call from Father...." you whisper.  You tap the crystal gently it lights up, steadily getting brighter until it stops, pulsing with the sounds coming out of it.

"Agent, Wisteria," your dad's voice says.  "The three weeks is nearly up.  Have there been any developments in the matter of Lucius Malfoy?"

You pause.  What do you say?  Who do you choose?  Your family or your love?  Your mouth hangs open for a moment.

"Agent Wisteria?  Answer me," your father says sternly. Thoughts run through your head like lightning.  Do you have the heart to betray the one person who's ever understood you, Draco Malfoy?  What about your dad?  He's given you food and a place to live for all these years....  However, he's never been one to care for you... All your life he's shut you out and finally now that you're useful, he's suddenly paying attention to you.  Maybe you should stay with him.  He's finally happy with you for the first time in your life.  You're pleasing your dad, the only person who hasn't entirely walked out on you.  After all, it's all you've ever wanted, pleasing your father... Right?   But again, what about Draco?  You've never had to work hard to please him.  He loves you for who you were, not for what you could be used for...  He cares about you.  As you think, there's dead silence in the room.  You choke a bit.

"I-I," you stammer.

"Are you telling me you have nothing?" your father says angrily.  "Agent Wi-"

"I do in fact have something!" you blurt out.  Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit!  I didn't mean to do that!  You think inside your head.  You hear a gasp and a few slow claps.

"Well done, y/n.  I always knew you'd get the job done.  I'm so proud of you.  For once in your life, you're not a disappointment!  Good girl..., Agent," he says, satisfied.  "Now, tell me.  What have you dug up about the Malfoys and their secrets?"

"I know the answer to the question you sent me here to answer, Agent y/l/nI," you say shakily.

"Tell me, Agent.  What is it?" your father says, eagerly.  "Spill."

"I know the answer to the big question you've been asking..."

"Yes?  I have a full squad on standby and letters to MACUSA to send."

"...but I'm not going to tell you," you say coldly.

"What?!" your father screams.  "Why won't you fucking tell me, you piece of trash?!"

"Because, Father.  You've never valued me at all.  All these years, I have been waiting on you hand and foot, trying to get you to reciprocate in your relationship, but NO!  You treat me like a mere pawn in your delusional game of chess where you've crowned yourself king!" you exclaim. "Every day of every year, I've been trying to prove myself to you!  Prove that I'm worthy of your attention as a daughter, not one of your underlings!  From the very start, I've wanted to please you!  All I've ever wanted it to have a relationship with you!  Is that too much to ask?"
