Description:  You were once a normal girl, but your mother's ex-boyfriend cursed you and now you have a large pair of feathery wings growing out of your back.  Your father suddenly turned on you after that, believing that you have turned into a disgusting monster, and banished you into the Forbidden Forest of Hogwarts to live among what he calls "the abominations of nature".  Your mother does take care of you by sending you food and schoolbooks, even though you cannot use them because she still cares deeply about you but cannot stand up to your overbearing father.   In this version of the Harry Potter universe, half-breeds are more commonly discriminated against and loathed.

Sticks and twigs break under your feet as you solemnly walk through your part of the forbidden forest in the morning time, your large, dark brown wings trailing behind you.  You hear the cries of animals in the distance and the rustle of the calming wind in the trees.  The cold air nips at your cheeks, turning them light pink.  It's been like this for years.  Lonely and unforgiving. Ever since your mother's ex-lover, Devon, cursed you into becoming the horror you are today.  Suddenly, you hear stirring and joyful voices full of mirth coming from the edge of the forest.  Hogwarts students.  What the hell are they doing here?  They aren't supposed to enter the forest at all.

"Alright you lot," a deep voice booms.  "Form a group over there."

You climb a tree and sit in it, concealed by the heavy, evergreen branches to observe the cloaked students, conversing with each other, holding a satchel of schoolbooks in their arms.  Everday all of them learn new things, unlike you.  Your father didn't allow you to go to school because of your... condition. He thought it would be inappropriate and banished you to live in solitude with nothing but dirty, brown rags, your instincts, and your pair of wings.

"Open your books to page forty-nine," the large man directs.  It's Hagrid, the Hogwarts gamekeeper.  You've seen him around from time to time.  He comes in at night and wanders around, but he never entered your neck of the woods.  it was strictly yours and nobody could ever come in.  Now he was bringing a mass of more than thirty students into it.  The nerve. Your immense feeling of displeasure with him and the students' presence grows.  You stand up on the tree and stretch your arms above your head and slowly tip forward falling from the tree.  You extend your wings swiftly, feeling the air rush under your outstretched wings to support you.  You swoop down and land directly in front of Hagrid with a firm thud, scattering leaves on the ground in your wake.  The students gasp and start to whisper.  They've obviously never seen a girl like you ever before.  Hagrid is in shock momentarily along with the students and finally straightens up and clears his throat.

"What do you want?" he asks, staring directly into your eyes.

"Leave," you say, impatience dripping from your voice. "You have no business here.  This is my territory of this forest. You have no right to bring students of all people here."

"Well," Hagrid says, straightening up again. "We do have the right to be here.  I have a lesson planned here and I would like to carry on with it."

"No.  You cannot stay!" you shout, extending your wings all the way on both sides of you.

"We will remain here until the lesson is finished!" Hagrid booms in return.  "You do not have any power over me as a Hogwarts professor!"
