Chapter 32:End Of The Arc

M/N'S Pov

W-What is this? Why am I glowing golden? Why do I feel like I'm burning? But at the same time, I feel powerful... Am I powerful enough to defeat him?

"Well? Are you fighting me or what?"Kokabiel asks impatiently, looking eager, almost like child glee... Tsk

"Alright."I take out both of my pistols and start shooting at him, he wraps his wings around himself, protecting him from the bullets... Hmmmm... That's a problem...

"These child toy's won't defeat me!"He charges at me with a light sword in hand as my pistols run out of ammo. I toss one of them in his direction but he slashes it in half. I side step a vertical slash and duck under a horizontal. I jump and attempt to kick him in the face, but he grabs my leg and slams my back on the ground before he jumps up and double stomps me in the stomach, knocking the air out of my lungs

"Is this it? Disappointing. Maybe I should just kill you now..."

"No way I'm dying to you!"I grab his foot and elbow the back of his knee, making him lose some balance before he falls forward. I flip over and land on top of him.

"Die Die Die Die Die!"With each time i said 'Die' i shot a fireball at him. I can see a few burns here and there but nothing serious... How tough is this guy!? Deciding to change tactics, I jump upwards with a boost from my wing and prepare to curb stomp this guy's head.

"naiive!"As I'm coming down he gets up and uppercut's me in the jaw, before grabbing me by the throat and driving me to the ground, leaving me stuck in a small crater, no longer glowing with a golden color.

"Im disappointed in you boy. I thought you were going to keep me amused for longer then this. But that doesn't matter anymore. Any last words."... Well I think this is it... I've always been a failure, haven't I? I guess I also a failure in winning. I just close my eyes awaiting for the inevitable When suddenly-

"M/N! Don't give up!"Buchou..?

"Don't let him end you! We still got so much to do... So much to talk about... And you're not just any Knight, you're MY Knight! If you let him kill you....I WONT FORGIVE YOU!"Its almost out of character for Buchou to sound like this... But she's right... I won't give up here!

"Hahaha! Too late! Now di-" I cut him off with a fireball right to the face, thank go-Nevermind that I managed to unstuck my arm. I quickly get up and gain some distance. OK M/N! Think! You can't win with brute force and hes alot quicker than you. What do I do?! Wait, why didn't I do what I always do?!

"I think it's I that should say I'm disappointed in you Kokabiel. You couldn't re-start a war when you killed my parents, nor could you kill me when you tried. And you're failing at restarting the war now! You're one of the biggest failures I've ever seen!" I mock him. If I get him mad enough, maybe he'll do something careless...

"Shut up brat! Don't make your death more painful!"he's getting annoyed... He charges at me and starts to slash at me with that sword of his, now that I think about it,why didnt he use it to kill me back there? Plot convenience maybe... I start to dodge his frenetic slashing. He does a backflip and charges at me, going for a stab. I duck it and grab a handful of dirt,

"Stop Running away!"OK this is it! He charges at me and as he's close enough I throw dirt in his eyes.

"GAH! My eyes!"He rubs his hand in them to get the dirt off of it. As he removes his hand from his face I kick him on the chin. Making him a bit disoriented.

"Damn cheating brat!"I pay no mind to what he said as I spin around and prepare my final attack.

"Goodbye and goodnight! COUP DE GRÂCE!"I cry out making a 'Finger pistol' as a a fire beam is shot from my pointer finger. Kokabiel disappears in the flames. I really hope this is it... The smokes clear and I can only see Kokabiel standing in his feet. Smoke coming out of him. I tense up, how is this fucker still standing?! He lifts his hand up for what I assume is him trying to use some light weapon like his sword or spear. I brace myself but suddenly-
