I woke up to a very familiar smell. Rolling to the left while still hugging my blanket dearly, I opened my eyes just enough to see Piper sitting on her bed; eating from a bowl while using chopsticks.
"Akala ko ba nagtitipid ka? Ba't nag-order ka bigla ng chinese food?" Piper asks, confusing me.
"I didn't order it," I uttered with a hoarse voice.
"Then who did?" Piper asks curiously but her eyes suddenly grow wide as if some crazy thought popped up her mind. "OMG! It's addressed to you so maybe may manliligaw ka na! OMG! Sinooo?! Yung Eloisa ba?!"
"I think I know who," I smiled, thinking back to our conversation last night...er morning? Pero wait, di ko pa naman nasasagot yung tanong niya ah?
"OMG sino?! B, spill!" Piper lights up, as if she's not suffering from a major hangover. She jumps towards my bed and starts slapping the side of my butt. Ganito siya pagkinilig, most of the time bugbog sarado ang mga braso ko dahil sa kanya.
"It's a girl!" I screamed just to calm her down. See, I lie too! In your face, Denver!
"Ay! Sayang!" panghihinayang ni Piper at saka bumalik sa kama niya at nagpatuloy kumain. "Bangon ka na diyan, baka mamaya maubos ko pa 'tong food mo hehehe," Piper says as she giggles.
