I can’t believe that I am currently driving to San Mateo to check on Maine. I wonder why am I this curious about what she does and how good she is on it. A part of me is saying that there is something that I need to know about her. Kung tutuusin tama naman sya na dapat hindi namin pakikialaman ang isa’t-isa since arranged marriage lang naman ang papasukin namin. But I could not control myself to know more about her. Isa syang napakalaking misteryo para sa akin. Ang dami kong tanong ang hindi naman kailangan pero gusto ko pa ring malaman ang sagot. Regardles if she talks or not, this lady is beginning to drive me crazy.
This is not my first time on a motocross track. In fact this is not my first time here in Patiis, San Mateo Rizal. I had few friends who are also into this extreme sports so I know some stunts and how dangerous those are. Who would have thought that a petite lady like Maine na parang konting tapik mo lang tutumba na ay magkakainterest sa sports na ito.
I go around to look for her, the atmosphere is calm, mukhang walang competition, everyone is relaxing in doing their own stuff. It took me a while before I found her. Karamihan kasi sa kanila naka suot ng helmet so it will be hard for someone who do not know this people to recognize them.
After a few minutes, I found her going into the tracks in her motocross gear. I can’t help but admire her, kahit petite ang babaing ito, sexy rin naman. Kapag niyakap ko ‘to sakop na sakop ng mga kamay ko at siguradong hindi sya makakawala. And why would I think about hugging her? Baka nga hawakan ko pa lang ang dulo ng daliri nito mag turn into a monster bigla. But I wonder kung gaano nga ba kalambot ang katawan nitong si Maine Mendoza.
I did not remove my gaze on her when she finally hits the tracks. Obviously she is not a beginner, all jumps are executed smoothly while it is unbelievable that she were able to to perform the whip stunt effortlessly.

“Sisiw na lang talaga kay Mendoza ang mag-whip and picapiedra stunts” I heard from the back and clearly they are talking about Maine since she is the only one currently in the track.

“I agree, did you see how she executed the Nine o’clock? Amazing!"

"I think she is working on the tsunami stunt. Parang yun ang gagawin nya sa weekend” someone also said. I quickly search on the stunt that they are talking about and got shocked seeing the picture of that tsunami stunt.

If she will indeed do this stunt in her competition then she is out of her mind. Doesn’t she love life to put it in danger?
“I heard she will be competing in Cebu three month from now and she will be doing the tsunami or superman jump”
“Sa sobrang lakas ng loob ng babaing yan, kayang kaya nya ang rock solid. Nakakabilib lang na mukhang mas mabigat pa yung bike nya sa kanya pero nadadala nya na parang isang papel lang, very remarkable”
I felt myself beaming while listening to these guys behind me. For someone set-to-marry the girl that they are talking about, I can’t help but be proud of her. Go ahead dude, watch her in awe and praise her as much as you want, because in a matter of months you will not see her do those stunts anymore. I will not allow her to risk her life in this kind of stuff. I will stop her from hitting the tracks.
“Sobrang mailap lang talaga yang si Mendoza eh, ayaw makipag-date. Mas gusto pang kasama yung mga bike nya kesa sa hahalik at yayakap sa kanya” I heard the two men continue talking about her.
“Tangina pare, pumayag lang makipag-date sa akin yang si Mendoza, papakasalan ko na agad-agad para hindi na makawala”
“Gago asa ka pa talaga, si Jacob nga hindi magawang i-date yan exclusively eh. Puro friendly date lang daw”
“I wonder nga bakit hindi pa sila, they were dating again few months ago according to Jacob, tapos natigil na naman, anong nangyari?”
“Hindi ko alam, baka nagpapalamig lang kasi di ba may girlfriend na model yang si Jacob, baka nabuko na nakikipag date pa rin kay Maine. Di ba nga iniskandalo na ni Beverly yang si Maine dahil kay Jacob”
“Malamang she got heartbroken kaya takot na ng commitment.”
Could it be that Maine got heartbroken kaya parang naging man hater? Hindi pwedeng basta sya magdecide to stay single all her life kung wala syang mabigat na pinag daanan. Possible naman yun di ba?
“Kaya mas piniling yung mga bike na lang ang hahaplusin nya, ang saklap lang hindi sya pwedeng haplusin nung mga bike nya”
"At hindi sya kayang buntisin ng bike nya" they continue talking.
"Malay ba natin, baka friends with benefits ang relationship nila ni Jacob"
Even if I got pissed off on how they talk about Maine, pinigil ko ang sarili kong sapakin ang mga gagong lalaking 'to. Yung usapan kasi nila papunta na sa parang unti unting hinuhubaran ang fiancee ko. I have to control myself and I should not create a scene because I don't want Maine Mendoza to know that I am here watching her doing her favorite stuff. Pero tangina, may araw din sa akin ang mga bastos na 'to.
Hindi ko alam kung matutuwa ako o maiinis sa pagka-tsismoso ng mga gagong 'to. Pero siguro dapat magpasalamat ako dahil in a way may nalaman din ako tungkol kay Maine. And who is this Jacob that she dated few months ago. What happen then? Siya kaya ang dahilan kung bakit gusto na lang maging single ni Maine? Tutoo kayang friends with benefits ang relationship nila?
I waited for her to finish her laps, I never thought that she is good at this stuff, not only good but she is indeed amazing compare to those girls I dated, none of them can do what I just saw in Maine earlier. Most of them will never ride a bike, much more do those jumps.
I saw her leaves the track and I make sure that she did not see me as it may give her a wrong impression on me. Ano pa ba ang ibang kayang gawin nitong si Nicomaine Mendoza. Until when will she be going to amaze me.
