Richard's POV
I quickly flew back home as soon as I received a notice that our company won the bidding for the project in Bangkok. I'm sure Lolo and Daddy will be very happy on the good news. Seems like Maine's pregnancy is giving us some good lucks. I am very excited to see my family again, therefore I took the next flight to Manila. I don't care about the cancellation fees as I wanted to see my girls immediately.
As I reached home, I did not feel the presence of Maine, mukhang nakatakas na naman at naglaboy ang asawa ko, but to my surprise, I saw my Dad going down the stairs from Celestine's room.
"RJ, you are home early, you are supposed to be here tomorrow morning right?" my Dad surprisedly asked
"We got the project Dad and I can't wait to come home and see my girls so I took the afternoon flight" I explained
"That's good news, hindi ako nagkamali na ikaw ang ipadala sa Bangkok for that bidding. Kaya pala hindi ka namin makontak kasi nasa eroplano ka na" Daddy said
"What are you doing here Dad? May nangyari ba kay Celestine? Where is Maine?" I asked anxiously
"I am here to pick up Celestine" My Dad replied
"Where are you going?" I asked
"Maine is in the hospital, she and Rizza had an accident this morning. Nabangga yung kotse kaninang umaga sakay si Maine at Rizza" My Dad explained
"What???? Bakit hindi nyo ako tinawagan agad? Kung kaninang umaga pa 'to nasa hotel na ako nang ganung time, arranging for my flight going to Manila" I asked
"I'm sorry son, I was not able to think of calling you earlier. Nagpanic kasi ako when I heard the accident" Daddy said
"So this is your way of protecting my family Dad? Yung umuwi ako na nasa ospital ang asawa ko kasi naaksidente. What is she doing outside in the first place when I have a strict instruction that she should stay home. I told you, she is not allowed to go out Dad, don't you remember" I fiercely asked
"Sinamahan ni Rizza si Maine to see Dra. Sanchez because you wife has been complaining about her backaches and she has difficulty in breathing since last night" Daddy explained
"I was talking to her but she never mentioned about hr difficulty in breathing. Yung backaches lang ang inaangal nya" I said. "And we have to fire that driver Dad, hindi marunong mag-ingat sa pagmamaneho" I fiercely added
"Nakapark yung car sa harap ng drugstore nung binangga nung delivery truck yung kotse kasi nawalan daw ng preno. Rizza and Maine are waiting for the driver kasi inutusan nilang bumili nung mga gamot" my Dad explained
"Kamusta si Rizza at si Maine Dad?" I calmly asked
"They were advised to stay in the hospital for further test and para makasiguro na rin na walang masamang epekto yung aksidente sa kanila" Daddy explained
"How's the baby Dad" I asked
"Your baby is fine according to the Doctor, but I haven't talk to Maine's OB-Gyne yet. She was not yet in her clinic when I left. Mas napuruhan si Rizza because sa likod sya nakaupo. But both of them are fine according to the doctor, mabuti na lang talaga the impact is not on Maine" Daddy said
"Daddy!!!" suddenly I heard Celestine called and saw her running down the stairs. I run to her and gave her a tight hug and thank God that she is not with Rizza and Maine during the accident
"I miss you baby" I said
"Lolo Ricky said, we are going to see Mommy and Tita Rizza, are you coming with us Daddy?" I asked
