Maine's POV
It is not a good morning for me today, I have been throwing up since I woke up this morning and have been continuing until now. The problem is, today is Celestine’s family day event in school. RJ and I saw how excited she is on this occasion and I could not break her heart and tell her that I am not in good shape to come with her and RJ to attend.
“Are you sure kaya mong sumama sa amin?” RJ worriedly asked
“I think I can, magpapahinga lang ako saglit. Nakita mo ba kung gaano ka-excited ang anak mo? It will break her heart kung kayong dalawa lang ang pupunta sa school” I replied
“I suggest you just stay home Love” RJ said
“Don’t worry kaya ko naman, basta I’ll just stay still and watch you join the games. Ang importante dalawa tayong kasama ni Celestine today” I insisted
“Alright but in case na sumama lalo ang pakiramdam mo, uuwi tayo agad” RJ said
“Mommy …. Daddy … let’s go now please” Celestine scream from outside. As I opened the door, she quickly runs inside and jumps in bed
“Susmaryosep anak, be careful you might hit Mommy and the baby” RJ said
“Sorry Mommy, sorry baby brother …” Celestine said and kisses my tummy
“Brother talaga ha, na-claim nyo na talaga ni Daddy na baby brother ang nasa tummy ni Mommy” I said chuckling
“Why Mommy, do you want a baby sister?” Celestine asked
“Yes, I want a baby sister for you, so that you and her can share the same stuff such as toys and room” I replied
“Yes, yes Mommy I want a baby sister too” Celestine excitedly replied
“Hala, ako na ang out-numbered ngayon, but baby, isn’t it that I told you, if you have a baby brother, there will be someone who will protect you” RJ said
“Yes, Daddy I like baby brother too” Celestine again exclaimed
“O iba na naman ang gusto” I said
“Hay I’m so confused now Mommy” Celestine said and both RJ and I laughs at her
“Kawawa naman ang baby namin, na-confused kay Mommy at Daddy” I said then suddenly I felt like throwing up again so I immediately runs to the bathroom.
“Can we just skip this event Love?” he asked while his hand rubs my back and I continuously shooks my head while throwing up. “Hirap na hirap ka eh” he added
“Ok lang ako, parang ayaw lang kasi ng anak mo yung breakfast kanina, gusto yata puro pancake ang kakainin ko” I said
“Magpapaluto ako ng pancake para may laman ang tyan mo bago tayo umalis” RJ said
Celestine was just staring at me when I went out of the bathroom. She look so worried and quickly hugs me when I laid down in bed
“Are you sick Mommy?” she asked
“Baby, I will just talk to Manang to cook some food for Mommy, watch her for me please” RJ said
“Yes Daddy” Celestine replied before RJ leave us alone in the room. Celestine suddenly kiss me on my forehead. “You’ll get well now Mommy” she said
“Yes baby, Mommy will be fine because I already got the kiss that I need to get well” I replied
“Are we still going to the family day Mommy?” Celestine sadly asked
