As I have said, I am not taking this issue of Patrick sitting down, specially now that we know his motives. I was right all along and I'm so glad that Maine is on my side. Isang tinik ang nabunot sa dibdib ko.
I can still remember the night that they had the talk. While I was watching them from outside, I can see how Patrick did not break his gaze at Maine. Even from afar, I can see that he is still in love with my wife, pasensya sya, nahuli sya ng dating, kasi masyado syang kampante.
Today as we are set to meet again here in my office to talk about our project, I am not certain how to treat him. After I received a text message from Francis informing me about Patrick getting their company’s services on a certain case is enough to conclude that he will do his best to get my wife back and I will certainly not allow it.
I know I have to be as professional as I can be, but help me God dahil baka magdilim ang paningin ko, sapakin ko na lang bigla ang mokong na yun.
He came just in time for the meeting. Unfortunately, my Dad, the president is on an out of town trip therefore the discussion will be between him and I.
I have to commend him for his professionalism, both of us were able to survive the discussion despite the awkwardness that is very evident which both of us cannot deny.
“I don’t want this to come from me but since we are collegues, I would like you to know that I am filling a claim for Celestine's” Patrick said after our meeting was adjourned
“I don’t mind at all Patrick. I think the court is the best venue to settle this since wala namang nangyari sa pag-uusap nyo ni Maine because in the entire ten minutes that I gave you to discuss about Celestine's custody, niligawan mo lang ang asawa ko” I straightly said
“I am just getting back what is mine. If you think you and Maine can fool me, well then think again Richard, I was not born yesterday, alam kong palabas lang ang lahat ng ginagawa nyo ni Maine. Noon pa alam ko nang isa sa anak ni Teodoro Mendoza ay kailangang ipakasal sa isa sa mga anak ni Richard Faulkerson. I admit I was wrong, because I was complacent na si Ate Nica ang ipapakasal kay RD Faulkerson. Kung alam ko lang na parehong uurong sa kasal ang dalawang yun, noon pa sana dinala ko na si Maine at Celestine sa U.S” Patrick
“Impressive talaga ang kapal ng mukha mo eh. You don’t own Maine and Celestine. Inayawan ka nga ng asawa ko eh. And as per Celestine, just this morning, before I left for work, she was calling me Daddy. You are not in their equation Patrick, and you will never be” RJ said
“Hindi nga ako kilala ni Celestine, kaya magpapakilala ako. Four years syang ipinagdamot sa akin ni Olga, oras na para bawiin ko ang anak ko” Patrick replied
“And how sure are you that Celestine is Olga’s daughter?” I asked to bluff him
“Olga and I were still together if you count backwards from the date of Celestine’s birthday” Patrick said
“Wala kang ebidensya na anak ni Olga si Celestine, anak sya ni Maine and it is written in all documents pertaining to Celestine’s parents” I replied
“Wala ka ring ebidensya na hindi ko anak si Celestine, Maine and I were also in a relationship that time, in a happy relationship infact” Patrick replied
“Mukhang ikaw lang naging masaya nung sabay mong tinuhog si Olga at si Maine. Kung sabagay, you are one hell of a selfish bastard that’s why you are too insensitive that Olga is hurting while Maine was also in pain because of her guilt on cheating on her bestfriend” I said
