Castiel

Sam and Dean drag into the bunker after a bad hunt both of them sporting tear stained cheeks and puffy eyes. You didn't make it this time.

"How are we going to tell Cas?" asks Sam since Castiel is your boyfriend and definitely won't take your dead even remotely well

Speak of the devil. Thinks Dean as Castiel appears in the bunker with a smile on his face

"Hey, guys, where is Y/N?" asks Castiel excited to see you

The boys look at each other with worried looks not sure just how to tell the blue eyed angel you didn't make it back.

"Y/N!" calls Castiel with a smile wondering away from the Winchesters after a few seconds thinking you were playing a joke on him

"Y/N!" calls Castiel

Sam sends Dean a worried look before the older Winchester lets out a sigh.

"I'll tell him." says Dean with a nod

Sam sends Dean a grateful look before he rushes away to his room.

Castiel returns to Dean, his smile still on his face though confusion is still in his eyes.

"Dean, I think Y/N is playing the hide and search with me. Can you help me find her?" says Castiel

"Look, Cas, there is something I need to tell you." says Dean causing Castiel's smile to drop as a worried look forms on his face

"What's wrong?" asks Castiel taking a step closer to Dean

"Y/N is.....Y/N is-" tries to get out Dean but the words seem to get stuck in his throat

"What's wrong with Y/N? Is she injured?" questions Castiel as he grows more concerned

"Cas....Y/N died." answers Dean finally getting the words out

Castiel stands in shocked with a open mouth before his mouth closed. Sadness and devastation clear in his eyes.

"I'm sorry, Cas." says Dean softly

Castiel nods before he disappears causing Dean to let out a sigh.

Castiel sits alone in your room in the bunker he flew too. Tears fall down Castiel's face as he holds a picture of the two of you together. A small smile forms on Cas's face as he remembers this day.

The two of you finally had a day off from saving the world and you took him to get ice cream. The two of you were walking down the street when you plops some of the ice cream onto his noise. While laughing you snapped a picture of you together. A confused look on his face in the picture while you were smiley and laughing.

Why did it have to be you? Thinks Castiel as he stares at the picture as a tear falls onto the picture from Cas's face

Y/N....I love you and I'll find some way to bring you back.
