Dean Winchester.

Dean and you got into a quite heated fight last night. Sam, Dean, and you are working a hunt in your hometown. You grew up there and lived there all your life. Dean had been to this town before and even had met your mom which is a huge deal. Since Dean normally doesn't do parents, but he did it for you. While the two of you were working the case the two of you want into your high school sweetheart.

This certain individual is someone that Dean has always been insecure about. Dean had heard a story from not only you but your parents. You loved that man before your father was killed and the only reason you left him was because you wanted to hunt. So when you agreed to have dinner with this certain man jealousy and insecurity bubbled up in Dean which led to a fight. You were mad since Dean was basically trying to stop you from going and was upset because you felt like Dean doesn't trust you.

So after the fight, you ended up leaving the small hotel room and staying with your mom, which is why Dean is standing on the front porch of her house.

"Dean, what a surprise." says your mother as she eyes the man with a look of anger that lets Dean know you told her what happened

"Can I come in? I need to talk to Y/N." says Dean

"I don't think she wants to talk to you." responds your mom

Dean's head drops down thinking that's a no but your mom placing a hand on his shoulder makes him look up.

"Look, Dean, I know you and I know my daughter. She told me what happened. She thinks you don't trust her, that you don't trust her with Dan. I don't think that's the case here. You're insecure, aren't you? Scared that now Y/N's got her revenge on that thing that killed y/d/n that she will meet up with Dan and she'll think she still loves him. Then she'll leave." says your mother softly

Dean nods in confirmation.

"Dean, I like you. I like you a lot more than Dan and I know Y/N does too, she loves you more than she ever will love Dan." says your mother gently

"How do you know?" asks Dean softly

"Because the amount of love and admiration she has in her voice whenever she talks around you tells me. How she acts around you and how she looks at you with such an intense amount of love in her eyes is way more than she did with Dan. You're the guy she loves Dean." answers your mother with a soft smile

Dean smiles a little and nods believing the older woman in front of him.

"Now get your butt upstairs and made up with my daughter." says your mother with a stern look that makes Dean laugh

"Yes, ma'am." says Dean before he rushes upstairs

A hand shaking your shoulder slightly is what wakes you up making your eyes flutter open to see a nervous looking Dean.

"What are you doing here?" You ask with some annoyance in your voice making Dean sigh

"I came to apologize." answers Dean making you sit up

"Okay." You say softly as you look into Dean's green eyes

Dean reaches out and takes your hand in yours giving it a small squeeze that makes you smile a bit.

"Look, last night I didn't want you to go not because of I thought you would cheat on me or something would happen like that. I trust you Y/N. I really do. I know you wouldn't do anything like that." says Dean making you feel better

Trust in a relationship is really important to you which is why you were so upset last night.

"Then why didn't you want me to go?" You ask curiously while your question makes Dean look down not liking to feel as vulnerable as he does now

"I.....I was scared that if you met with Dan that you might realize that you still love him and-and that you might leave me to be with him." replies Dean quietly

You gently placed your hand on Dean's chin lifting his head up so you can look into his eyes.

"Dean, I would never leave you, especially for Dan. We were young and I didn't really know what love was but I know that I love you. I love you more than I have anyone else." you say

"That's what your mom said you would say." states Dean with a cheeky smile to lighten the mood making you groan

"You talked to my mom about this?" You question slightly embarrassed

"Yeah, but it's okay you don't need to be embarrassed. Because I love you more than anyone else too. You are the girl I love and I always will." replies Dean with a smile

You grin at Dean's words before you lean forward to capture his lips with yours.

Turns out that the Winchester definitely had nothing to be scared about.
