Sam and Dean sneak around the back of the bar where they had tracked who they are pretty sure is one of the members of the havoc-wreaking nest in this small, college town of Illinois. A nest of vampires had been attacking and killing people (primarily men) in town. The only thing that is good (well for the Winchesters at least) is that one of the victims survived and the good thing is that he can reminder a symbolic looking tattoo (that the boys assume is maybe that the symbol is for the nest) on the vampire that attacked him. So they are hoping it won't be too hard to spot a vamp due to that not-so-little clue. Also, interestingly enough is that this town is one of the towns that Sam and Dean lived at during one of their dad's many hunts growing up.

"She better a damn vamp." mutters Dean annoyed since they were so busy following a vampire, who they spotted due to the symbolic tattoo on her neck, today that he hadn't had dinner yet

"Someone's hangry." teasingly comments Sam with a smirk causing Dean to roll his eyes

"Bitch." comments Dean as the two men continue to inch towards the back door where they would enter the bar then try to get the female vampire (from what they know they assume the whole nest is female since it seems all the victims are found dead after they visited a bar were people reported of seeing or hearing nothing unusual; no voices of struggle meaning the men left willingly) to pick one of them as their dinner so that once they leave the bar, they can torture some information out of the vampire

"Jerk." responds Sam with a tiny expression of his famous bitchface as the two finally reach the back door of the bar

Dean rolls his eyes while he reaches a hand out to open the door. Though before Dean can open the door, it suddenly flings open and a shoulder-length haired girl rushes out of it colliding quickly into the two men.

"Sorry." quickly apologizes Sam as he gripped onto the short figure in front of him to stop them from falling but once he does his eyes fill with recognization and shock

"Melida?" breathes out Sam Winchester as he stares down at the girl he was friends with in high school in shock

"Sam?" replies an equally surprised Melida as instantly tons of memories fly through both their minds

Melida and Sam knew each other back when he attended Springfield High School for a few weeks. Melida and Sam had actually formed a quick friendship that Sam may have formed a tiny crush during. (That Dean teased him for even months after they left Illinois). The two then-teenagers shared many memories together back then, Sam and Melida actually went to Sam's first homecoming together, just as friends though. Melida also had been one to help encourage him to go to Stanford and achieve his dream of being a lawyer (which he did though he did drop out last year). When Sam and his family had to leave, Sam was so heartbroken as well as Melida. His teenage-self missed Melida throughout the years, she had definitely been his biggest crush during his high school years. It felt strange to see her now and Melida definitely felt the same since for her sooo much had changed since high school.

"What-what are you doing here?" asks Melida with a confused expression since she hadn't seen the Winchester since their high school days when he unexpectedly left

"I'm-" Sam starts to scramble up with a lie until Dean slapping his arm stops Sam

Sam turns to his brother with a "what was that for" look which is when he sees Dean pointing to Melinda's shoulder then her wrists. Sam looks puzzled before he looks to where his brother is pointing to see fresh looking blood on her shirt, as well as the nest symbol of the vampires that is clearly visible on her wrist.
