Warning: Mentions of self-harm (A part of the story involves the scene of Jack hurting himself with a knife from the end of 13x02)

Cherish walks down the hallway after getting a snack from the kitchen which is why she is holding a bag of chips in her hands. Cherish starts to pass by Jack's room until grunts of pain and what sounds like someone is stabbing something stops her.

Cherish's brows furrow together as she stops before she walks up to Jack's bedroom door that is cracked open. Her eyes thought immediately widen at the sight in front of her.

There stands Jack Kline with his back turned to her standing a knife into him repeatedly.

"Jack, what the heck are you doing?!" asks Cherish as she bursts into the room with concern and a slightly panicked look in her honey brown eyes

"Jack give that to me." adds Cherish rushing over to Jack when he turns to her revealing where all he had plunged the knife into his skin which was basically all of his chests before she pulls the bloody knife out the boy's hands

"What the hell? What were you thinking?" exclaims Cherish freaked out bu Jack's action as she can't believe he would do this

Sure he has had a rough time since he was born but he has only been alive for a few days now so Cherish didn't expect anything like this from him.

"Exactly what the hell am I?" replies Jack before he turns away from Cherish who looks at him now sympathetic and with sadness for the boy she has only known for a few days

Her dad, Sam, has a lot of fate in Jack so did Uncle Cas so for their sake Cherish had tried to a keep positive attitude about the Son of Satan, Nephilim though that was before he was born and before she met Jack.

"I can't control whatever this is." starts Jack before he slows turns back to Cherish, who quickly puts the bloody knife down on the dresser in the room

"I will hurt someone." adds Jack with an upset and slightly scared look

Cherish hesitantly moves closer to Jack so where she is standing in front of him with a gentle look trying not to upset or hurt the boy even more.

"Jack, that won't happen. Sam will make sure of it and you'll be okay I promise. My dad and his brother always find some way to fix things and make things work. Besides, you are new to this. You just need some adjustment time, you'll...we'll figure this all out I know everything will work itself out. In the meantime, you just need to keep calm and positive. Remember Sam believes in you, he believes you can be saved and that you can be good. Castiel believed the same thing, Jack." says Cherish placing a comforting hand on Jack's shoulder

"Do...do you? Do you believe all of that?" questions Jack softly as he looks into Cherish's brown eyes

Before Jack was born and when she first met him she was wary of him she will admit. Though she wanted to believe differently wanting to go along with her father, Jack was still the son of Satan and Cherish was a bit scared he could be evil. I mean Jack would have to go against all of his father's slash his nature to be good. Though that Jack is here he doesn't seem evil, he doesn't seem like he has an evil bone in his body. He just seems like a nougat loving boy that is scared, lost, and confused.

"I do, I believe it all Jack." answers Cherish honestly

I'm really glad I'm the one who found him instead of Dean are this conversation could have done really south really fast. Cherish can't help but think

"Really?" asks Jack worriedly thinking the girl in front of him may be lying to spare his feelings

"Really." confirms Cherish with a small smile that Jack slowly returns sheepishly

An awkward pause fills the room as neither of the two teenagers knows what to say or do next. Cherish lets her hand slip off of Jack's shoulder.

"Do....do you think you-you could stay for a bit? I don't really want to be alone right now." questions Jack softly and feeling slightly awkward

"Of course Jack." answers Cherish with a small, gentle smile on her face also agreeing with the fact that Jack shouldn't be alone right now

A grin spreads across Jack's face with happiness happy that Cherish agreed to hang out with him. He hasn't gotten to really hang out with one of the people he thinks of as a friend due to all the supernatural stuff going on.

"Great, how about we watch that one cartoon I was trying to watch before Dean shut it off? I think it was...." says Jack trailing off as he tries to remember the name of the cartoon

"Scooby doo?" Cherish suggests who was there during what happened the other night and she thinks it was Scooby Doo he was watching

"Yes, that's the one! You want to watch it?" says Jack with excitement that Cherish  wished he could have all the time

"Sure." answers Cherish with a smile

A huge grin spreads across Jack's face before his hand reaches out and grabs Cherish's hand in his making a pink tint form on Cherish's cheeks. Jack then tugs Cherish to his bed grabbing the remote to the tv on the way.

Two hours later, Jack is now on his fifth Scooby Doo episode while Cherish is asleep which she has been since the fourth episode. Cherish was facing away from the Nephilim until she suddenly starts moving around. Jack tears his eyes away from the scene at the sound of Cherish rustling around and Jack can't help but think about how extra cute the peaceful looking brown-eyed girl is when she is asleep. Though Jack tenses up slightly when Cherish moves to be cuddle into his side, Cherish's face now nestled into his side with one of her hands now resting on the blue-eyed boy's stomach. Quickly Jack relaxes into the touch that he now finds comforting before he places an arm around the girl next to him a small smile now on his face. Jack now realizing how much he needed a comforting cuddling until right now.

I'm so lucky to have such a good friend....that I think I might wish was more like my girlfriend. Like Freddie and Daphne are. thinks Jack suddenly realizing that the small sparks he feels going up his arm are not something that you normally get with someone you are just friends with

A fond, soft smile forms on Jack's face as he thinks of the two of you being like the iconic couple of Fred and Daphne before he places a soft kiss to Cherish's forehead. Jack's eyes then return to the scene as he cuddles a little bit up to Cherish.

Jack ended up falling asleep not too long after cuddling up to Cherish even more once he was asleep. While Jack slept he had a smile glued to his face that definitely had to do with the beautiful girl next to him.

I will be soooo angry and upset if the writers ever decide to kill of Jack. They probably will since this is supernatural but I will be heartbroken.
