Jack Kline

Jack Kline sits on his bed on his laptop looking at random YT videos until your voice ringing out stops him.

"Hey, I was wondering if you would want to go out tonight with me?" You ask standing at his doorway with a nervous smile

"Really?" asks Jack excited as he hasn't really gotten to go out of the bunker unless it was for a case

"Yeah, I was thinking we could do something fun." You answer with a small smile as Jack jumps up from his place on the bed

"Like bowling?" asks Jack excitedly making you chuckle softly

"Yeah, we can bowling." You answer making Jack's grin grow

"Great, just let me get my jacket." says Jack before he rushes to his closet excited to go bowling and to get to spend some alone time with you

Jack has always felt a bit of an admiration for you. Dean always is teasing him for what he likes to call having a "school girl" crush on you. So you asking him to spend time with you and go somewhere fun made him over the moon with happiness.

You clap for Jack when he turns back to you after scoring his first strike ever who smiles proudly.

"That was great Jack." You compliment with a smile

Your comment quickly making Jack's grin grow.

"Thanks, Y/N. I'm going to get a Milky-Way...with nougat to celebrate!" exclaims Jack excitedly making you giggle slightly finding his enthusiasm quite adorable

"Okay." You say while getting ready for it to be your turn before Jack rushes off to the vending machine

Jack inserts his money into the vending machine and starts to input the numbers for a Milky-Way until a voice from next to him pauses his actions.

"Your girlfriend is super hot, nice job man." says a blonde-haired guy next to Jack, getting a soda from the vending machine next to the one Jack is at, making a blush arise onto Jack's cheeks

"She....she isn't my girlfriend." gets out Jack flusteredly

"Oh...sorry dude, you guys just seemed like you were on a date." says the blonde with a shrug before he walks off leaving a now thinking Jack behind

Jack wonders back to you with a confused expression on his face. Jack sits down next to you at the table in front of the bowling lane as you munch on some fries. You look over at him and start to offer Jack some of your fries until you notice the look on his face.

"Jack, you okay ?" You ask slightly concerned by the very puzzled look on the brown-haired boy's face

"Yeah.....it's just...." trails off Jack nervously not sure if he should say what he is thinking

"Jack, it's okay, you can tell me. Did someone say something?" You ask while placing a comforting hand on his arm thinking someone might have said something rude to him

"Yes....but it wasn't mean or anything.....it's just that someone thought we were on a date." explains Jack making your cheeks turn a little pink

"Are we on a date? Isn't this a place where people go on dates?" questions Jack curiously with a confused head tilt

Jack doesn't really know much about dating or anything to do with relationship. So he doesn't really know about the whole asking someone out part. All he knows is that there seems to be a lot of couples around the alley so maybe the two of you are on a date.

"No, Jack, this isn't a date." You answer with a small head shake of your head

"Oh..." says Jack feeling some disappointed as he really really wanted this to be a date since that is what couples (and he really wishes that the two of you could be a couple like in one of his favorite movie, Beauty in the Beast) do before his head drops to look down at his sneaks also feeling slightly upset and awkward

You quickly notice the boy's expression and shift in attitude giving you the confident to say the next sentence that escapes your lips.

"But it can be if you want it to be one." You add  with slightly nervousness as you slide your hand down from Jack's arm to rest on top of his hand

Jack's looks up immediately looking into your eyes with hope and excitement in his.

"Really?" He questions and you nod in response

"This is the best day ever!" exclaims Jack excitedly making you laugh softly

The rest of the night the two the two of you spend bowling, laughing, and chatting. You have to admit, it was the best date you have had in awhile but you think that mostly has to do with the fact it was with Jack. Jack on the other hand could haven't imagined a better first date.
