LiFan choked: "Pff..." he sprayed all of his orange juice as he coughed fiercely.

Tan Xiu, who saw this came and patted his back: "Are you okay? Wait here for a bit I will bring the water for you."

LiFan didn't even have time to refuse, he coughed until his face became red and tears started coming out.

A few seconds later, Tan Xiu came back with a glass of water which he gave to LiFan to drink. LiFan drank slowly, fearing that he could choke again.

~Hah...I thought I was going to leave this world earlier than planned.~

However he forgot that he had a problem that needed to be solved!

~Tan.Xiu.Why.are.you.here.?!~ he screamed in his mind.

LiFan bowed towards Tan Xiu almost in ninety degree and softly spoke: "Ah! Thank you Mr.Tan for helping me"

Tan Xiu: "That's okay, I'm actually the cause so I should apologize to you instead."

LiFan's heart jumped. What did he imply by that?

LiFan immediately shook his head: "Ah, no, no it was only because I had never thought that I would meet you here." then he embarrassingly added: "You have always been my idol!"

Tan Xiu slowly raised an eyebrow. He crossed his hands in front of his chest then asked: "You idolize me? Why?"

LiFan inwardly frowned. ~Why do you need to be like this today ah? He didn't actually recognize me right?~

Lifan was scared out of his wits by his own assumption.

Actually the reason he hid his identity in the first place was because he didn't want Tan Xiu to find out that he was Su Laoer's half-sibling that she despised so much.So, in order to avoid any mishaps in the future after Tan Xiu got together with Su Laoer he only needed Tan Xiu to know him as Yun LiFan.

However, as the time passed, he wanted to disclose his identity more and more, but whenever he thought of the plot he could not help but swallow back his words.

Between his lover and a friend whom he knew for a few years of course it was an obvious choice.

That's why he would rather hide his identity and stay by his side as a friend, rather than letting him know his identity and become his enemy later on.

LiFan hurriedly said: "Y-you are handsome and even got titled as Business Emperor when you were only 25 years old! You even got full score and were a top student at K university!"

Tan Xiu rubbed his chin as he looked at LiFan: "So you say....if I were to chase someone, I will succeed?"

Although he thought the question was strange he still answered honestly: "Of course you will definitely succeed. If that person rejects you, her brain must have some kind of problem, haha"

Tan Xiu showed a serious expression while saying: "So why does 'this' person still act like he doesn't even know my feelings for him?"

Tan Xiu talked while looking at him: "You see...I even celebrated his birthday and bought presents for him, I would call him everyday and even tell goodnight to him every night, I would also suggest to meet only with two of us many times, when I found out that he liked to collect antiques I immediately searched for them to give him while saying that I got them from others.Don't you think that I had been giving him too many hints already? However, Tan Xiu's next sentence made him rendered speechless.

Tan Xiu suddenly showed an embarrassing face while hesitantly talked: "Even though the other night he did that to me-"

LiFan blurted out: "What did I do to you?!"

To the hell with his identity! He doubted that unless he wore a human skin mask or did a plastic surgery there was no way this guy wouldn't recognize him.

Tan Xiu immediately changed his tone: "Finally, admitted it now?"

LiFan rubbed his forehead: "How?"

He was wearing an oversized suit, thick rimmed glasses and even had his long bangs cover his face. So how?

Tan Xiu raised an eyebrow: "Instinct?"

LiFan's eyes twitched fiercely at his reply. Why did it feel the same as when they first met?

Tan Xiu had already decided not to let LiFan go as he continued to ask: "You haven't answered my question yet. Why did you do that? Unless you actually hate-"

LiFan hastily replied: "No It's not that...sigh, let's talk elsewhere okay?"

He might as well just give up and tell him everything.

However, seeing how unwilling Tan Xiu was LiFan needed to add: "I won't run away anymore."

Only then was Tan Xiu willing to follow him and LiFan exited the party and drove to a park not too far away from the venue.

They both sat on the bench as the silence befell on them.

LiFan suddenly broke the silence: "I was scared."

Tan Xiu turned to look at LiFan but LiFan still continued with his talk: "When I was young, I was abandoned by my parents. I stayed on the streets for a while.... the cold, hunger, begging... I had almost done and experienced everything. Until...one day a gentle man reached his hand towards me."

LiFan paused for a bit then continued: "He even asked me to become his son(daughter) and let me stay with him. At that time it was like a heaven for me, so all I wanted was for him and me stay like that forever. I also became a technician just for him. However I was too naive to believe that our peace would last forever.

One day a man came to our house and he took a liking to me. He promised to give some wealth to him and that was all it took him to give me away. I cried and ran away with all my might, all I thought about was to go as far as I could ."

After that he lived alone in fear and decided not to let anyone affect his life anymore. So he always kept distance from others and he consciously chose to turn blind eye when the other party exceeded that distance.

If the other party still persisted he would immediately stop meeting that person and Tan Xiu was the first person that he couldn't distance himself from.

He didn't know why he could talk about all of this with someone when he had already decided to bury it deep down inside his heart.

Maybe because he thought that he was not real...or
Maybe he had already broken that line and had fallen in love with him.

Too much, to the point that he was actually afraid of losing him...
