Chapter Twelve

Owens pov

I hear a knock on the door and start making my way down stairs. Ok owen, act casual. I open the door and smile, knowing full well my face is bright red. "Hey cutie, ready to go?" I nod and smile as i shout a bye to my mom.

The car journey is filled with laughter and jokes. Me and hunter get along really well even though if you look at us, we are total opposites.

I rub my hands on my knees to try and get rid of some of the sweat, what? I'm really nervous!

Hunters pov

As we walk to the restaurant i intertwine his small hand with mine. He smiles and blushes. Hes cute. We walk to the building with "franchinos" accross it. "Uhh hunter, isnt this place like really expensive?" I chuckle. "Dont worry about that, My dad works for a big company so its ok" he nods slightly and gives an uneasy smile.

"Hi, welcome to franchinos! what can i do for you" we're welcomed by a girl that looks to be around our age. "I have a table for two booked under the name of Matthews" the girl scrolls through her ipad and nods before taking us to our table. "Can we have two waters please" she nods and smiles.

We continue to ask each other questions and having fun until we hear a loud crash.

"Megan! I swear you're useless! GO AND SERVE THE WATERS." the young girl runs back out. "Sorry about that. Its my first day on the job... and first day in the town" she smiles.

"You're doing fine! Don't worry." She smiles thankfully at owens compliment before leaving. He's so nice.

Owens pov

We both finish our last drink and laugh. That was great. This is the best date ever. The food and dessert was amazing! I smile at the thought of the food. "You have a nice smile Kelly, anyone ever tell you that?" I hide my face and shake my head.

Wow is it hot in here?

Hunter smirks at me and i feel my face once again blush. I look into his ocean blue eyes and smile. They're beautiful.

I suddenly feel my phone vibrate and see an unknown number call. I cautiously answer. "Hello?" I hear a womans voice on the other end. "Who is this?" I pause trying to recognise the voice. "Umm Owen... Owen kelly. Who is this?" I hear a pause and then a laugh.

"Well well well, little kelly didn't change his number huh?"I feel myself go pale.

"Oh, hello shauni." She laughs. "My uncles gonna escape ya know, he's gonna find and kill you and you're family." I feel my lip tremble slightly. "Shauni it wasn't my fault henry abused us, i'm sorry he's gone but don't blame-" she quickly interupts me.

"SHUT THE FUCK UP. I ALWAYS KNEW YOU WAS A WINY FAGGOT FROM THE START, he's coming for you Owen, karma is going to be a bitch to you." Before i can reply she hangs up.

I sigh. "Are you ok?" I nod slowly. "Henry, my moms ex boyfriend i told you about, has a niece called shauni, who is apparently very unhappy with me." He frowns.

"What did she say?" I sigh and place my shaky hand on my lap. "She said henry would come and find me and kill me, i'm sorry." He smiles softly and shakes his head.

"Don't be sorry Owen, theres nothing to apologise for. Wanna get out of here?" I smile at him and nod.

Hunters pov

I walk over to megan, the waitress  and smile as i hand her our check. "Thankyou! And i hope your boss eases up on you." She smiles softly. "Thankyou, i hope so too, i hope you return soon!" We wave goodbye and make our way outside.

"Wanna go for a walk?" He nods slightly and yawns. "Want to sit on my back?" He shakes his head. "I'm heavy." I chuckle. I allow him to walk ahead before I sprint behind him and lift him over my head so hes sat on my back. ""BUT IM HEAVY!" I laugh.

"Owen kelly, maya weighs more than you, stop being a baby" he giggles and puts his chin on my head. "Your hair is fluffy" i smile while he fiddles with small strands of my hair.

We walk through the park in a comfortable silence, just enjoying each others company.

"The Stars are beautiful" i hum in response. "just like you" he blushes. I pull out my phone and take a photo. He giggles and hides his face in my hair. It's possibly the best picture in my life. I show it him and i feel him smile into my hair.

"Send me that" i send it to him and he smiles pulling out his phone. I glance at his phone to see my contact name

I bite my lip trying not to die of how cute he is.

We soon arrive at our street. He jumps down and smiles. "Thank you" he giggles. Damn does he stop laughing. i hug him. "No problem princess" i stare at his face and feel my heart melt. Hes so cute. I rest our foreheads together and smile. "I have a secret" i hum wanting to know more about the small boy.

"I like you" i chuckle and feel a burst of joy in my body. "I have a secret too" he looks at me with a soft blush.

"I like you too" and with that i close the small gap between us. Every time we kiss it feels like the world is stopping just for us. I never want my lips to leave his but sadly i have too.

"So what does this make us?" We walk hand in hand to his path. "I don't mind." I smirk at his reply. "Owen, will you be my boyfriend."

He giggles. "Yes" i smile and once again smash my lips into his. I will never get sick of these lips. we pull apart and he goes towards his door. "Bye princess" he turns around and giggles. "Bye... muffin"'i feel my heart stop. Hes too much.

I walk back towards my car which is all the way back at the restaurant, but i dont mind. It gives me time to think about him before im bombarded with questions from my mother. I try to not smile but i cant help it. I let out the biggest smile ever. Im the luckiest guy on the planet. I feel my phone vibrate.

Hey man just seen Owen walk into his room with a huge smile, the date go well? - Nathan

Heh yeah hes my boyfriend.- hunter

Congratulations bro! Take care of him please, or i will have to punch you- Nathan

I click onto settings and make my lock screen the picture we took. I wont ever let anyone hurt him again. I climb into my car and put on the radio, ready to sing my heart out to some random love song.
