review: I read this last year and absolutely loved it, and in the spirit of re-reading some of my fave books (and the fact that another book I'm reading had put me in a slump) I thought I'd dive into this again.

And while I still enjoyed the writing, and the characters, re-reading this book made me realise that it's one of those books which is better off being read once. When you know the big plot twist, you're just waiting for that moment to arrive that you can hardly focus on the rest of the book. I knew what to expect, what was happening, and I lost the beauty of the suspense and tension which was built up throughout.

I'd still highly recommend that anyone read this if they're looking for a really exciting book to read.
