I see the ball that Daniel had thrown way too hard and too far for me to catch and swim too it.
Okay, maybe I do need to sport more often...
It feels like I've swum a marathon, when it's been 65 feet max.
I grab the ball, but am being pulled back behind a small wall of the swimming pool.
Now
"Jesus freaking Christ" I notice that I can stand here, so I quickly put my feet on the ground
"No, as much as I appreciate you thinking I'm Jesus, I'm Mason" he smirks
"You okay?" he asks, genuinely worried
"Yes, just thinking"
"About?" he smiles
"Not important"
"Yes, it-"
I push my lips on his, shutting him up. He holds his hands on both sides of my head against the wall.
"As much as I would love to keep kissing you, we wouldn't want them to get the wrong idea, now would we?" he smirks and turns to swim away
"Can I sit on your shoulders?"
Mason turns around and shrugs.
"Sure"
He sits on his knees in the water and I climb on his shoulders. He starts walking and my payback plan has started. Hehe.
I grab my hairband from my arm and make a small ponytail in his hair. I smile at the sight of it. When we get deeper into the water, I accidentally push his head under a few times.
"Sorry"
"I would like to have my oxygen"
"Really? I thought you were a fish and you didn't need it. Sorry sir, forgive me for my mistake"
"Look who I found" I smile triumphantly as we get back
"Catch" I quickly put my hands in front of Mason's face and catch the ball, before it hits him in the face again.
"Oh, for your information, Jake threw the ball in your face" I smirk
Mason's eyes narrow as he looks at Jake and Jake curses under his breath.
"Thanks Lex" Jake groans sarcastically and I laugh, but that's soon over as Mason drops me of his shoulders and swims towards Jake.
I fall in the water backwards and when I come back up, I start laughing at Jake, who is currently being pushed underwater by Mason.
"Serves you right" he smirks and pushes him underwater once again
Lauren laughs at Jake and cheers Mason on.
"Let's play dodge ball in the water!" Daniel suggests
Mason takes the hairband out of his hair before shooting it on the grass.
"Agreed" Jake gets out before being splashed with water by Mason
"Yeah, okay, I get it, that's enough" Jake scoffs
"Good" Mason says smugly
"4 against 5 or 4 against 4 and one referee?"
"Let's do 4 against 4" Tyler says
"So, anyone wanna be the referee?" I ask with raised eyebrows
"I'll be the referee" Tyler says
We all nod and he swims to the edge of the pool, grabbing a whistle, that someone apparently brought with them.
