The next morning, Long Zixi arrives early in the morning. Right after yesterday's talk, Mr. Wei made a phone call while he was leaving to have his guards set up the cameras in Wei Xiao's room and around it. By the time Long Zixi arrived, they had just finished setting up the monitors in Mr. Wei's room and at his work place.
Mr. Wei also made sure that there would be someone monitoring the screens at all time and will inform him if there's any changes.
Butler Wang and some of the maids came out to greet Long Zixi and invite him in. The younger maids all blush at the sight of Long Zixi, he was like a statue perfectly sculpted by the hands of God. Although his looks weren't fully matured yet he's able to make people's hear swoon by just glancing at them. By the time he's fully matured, his hormones would be enough to drive anyone crazy.
Butler Wang and two other maids lead Long Zixi to Wei Xiao's room, which was located towards the heart of the manor. Wei Xiao's room was very spacious and there was a door that lead to the courtyard.
When they arrived, Butler Wang gently knocked on the door and announced their arrival, "Young master. You have a guest, we will be coming in."
A sweet, clear, and pleasant voice comes from inside of the room, "Oh... do come in."
Butler Wang opens the door and once Long Zixi steps in, he becomes awed by the sight. A young pale boy was sitting in bed, he had long straight platinum blonde hair that fell down to past his shoulders, his large round emerald eyes shone like jewels, and he wore a pure white robe. He looked ethereally, like a painting done by the hands of a master.
Long Zixi stood still staring, although his face remained indifferent his heart was pounding like crazy inside. Butler Wang made the introductions, "Young master, this is Long Zixi. He's Mr. Long's son."
Wei Xiao gave out a small smile, "It's nice to meet you, Long Zixi. My name is Wei Xiao. You can call be Xiao if you like."
Long Zixi composed himself as he stared at the pure and innocent smile that could make flowers bloom, "En. It's very nice to finally meet you. I've heard a lot from my father, you can just call me Xi ge*."
('ge' - older brother. Used for calling a male person that is older than you, doesn't have to be blood related.)
(A/N: When Long Zixi tells Wei Xiao to call him 'Xi ge', he's making it so that they're more familiarized and less distant from each other. Just like how Wei Xiao asked to be called 'Xiao' instead of 'Wei Xiao'.)
Butler Wang left Long Zixi in the room with Wei Xiao to go and grab some refreshments for the two. Long Zixi gracefully walks to the chair by the side of the bed and sits down. The two at first were awkwardly quiet with each other but after asking small questions about each other, it seemed as if they hit it off. They found out that they had quite a lot in common and they shared multiple interest in certain fields.
Long Zixi hadn't felt this feeling before, he felt very... comfortable and relieved.This was the first time he was able to talk with someone who understood what he was talking about and felt acted normally with him there. Majority of the time they would be intimidated by his presence and they wouldn't know what he was talking about.
Long Zixi felt that he quite like this new cousin of his. By the time they realized it, it was already three o'clock in the afternoon.
The door suddenly slams open and a young girls walks in, her eyes widen as she spots Long Zixi and she walks over and curtsies. "Greetings to young master Long, my name is Wei Yue."
Long Zixi frowns, he and Wei Xiao's talk had been interrupted by this girl. Also, her eyes held a flash of darkness which he had clearly caught sight of. He sneered inwardly at the young girl, she reminded him of so many others. She wasn't like her brother, whose eyes showed that even though they had seen the darkness in humanity they still remained pure and untainted by all that darkness.
Sadly, Wei Yue's first impressions on Long Zixi weren't very good. Because she was much younger than when she would've originally meet Long Zixi, her acting skills were lacking.
Long Zixi, "It's nice to meet you too Ms. Wei."
Wei Yue blushes shyly, "If I may ask, why are you visiting today?"
Long Zixi replied with a tone that was neither warm or cold, "To visit Xiao'er, of course." So don't be wishful thinking that I would be here to see you.
As if on queue, Wei Xiao blushes at Long Zixi's words.
Wei Yue's smiles stiffens as she clenches her fists, "Ah, of course."
Long Zixi turns his attention back to Wei Xiao, ignoring Wei Yue. Seeing that Long Zixi isn't paying any attention to her, Wei Yue rages with jealously inside. Why is it always you? Why do you always get everyone's attention? What do I have to do to make others see me? Why do you keep stealing people from me? He's mine!
Wei Xiao could see the ugly greed and hatred brewing in her eyes and smiles inwardly. Ah, continue to become jealous my dear 'older sister'. The more, the better.
Wei Yue's eyes slightly waters as if she's being bullied and pouts, "Erhm, Yue'er will take her leave now."
Wei Yue turns around and slowly walks to the door, hoping that someone will stop her but no one cared to pay any attention to her. The two were chitchatting as if they were the only ones in the world.
After leaving the room, Wei Yue ran to her room and started crying. She cursed Wei Xiao over and over again in her heart. After crying for what seemed like forever, she wipe her tear stained face and raised her head. Her eyes were filled with madness and the only thoughts in her mind was how she was going to inflict pain onto Wei Xiao.
Back in Wei Xiao's room, it had been time for Wei Xiao to take his afternoon medicine and so Long Zixi bid him farewell and informed that he would be coming tomorrow as well. After taking his medication, Wei Xiao fell 'asleep' as the two bodyguards came back and stood guard in his room.
Bao Bao had been observing Wei Yue as Wei Xiao had wanted and reported back what he found.
