A girl met a boy at the age of ten.
"I'm a good dancer. Can I be your girlfriend?" she asked.
The boy answered , "Yes! But after two years."

Two years later, the girl is now at the age of twelve.
"I dance now much better, can I be your girlfriend?" she asked.
The boy answered, "Yes! But after two years."

Two years later, the girl is now at the age of fourteen.
"I've gotten smarter, can I be your girlfriend?" she asked.
The boy answered, "Yes! But after two years."

Two years later, the girl is now at the age of sixteen.
"I've got much prettier, can I be your girlfriend?" she asked.
The boy answered, "Yes! But after two years."

Two years later, the girl is now at the age of eighteen.
"I've gotten sexier, can I be your girlfriend?" she asked.
The boy answered, "Yes! But after two years."

Two years later, the girl is now at the age of twenty.
"I'm now a famous singer, can I be your girlfriend?" she asked.
The boy answered, "Yes! But after two years."

Two years later, the girl is now at the age of twenty-two.
"I became much richer, can I be your girlfriend?" she asked.
The boy answered, "Yes! But after two years."

Two years later, the boy graduated college and had a stable job.
Now, the girl is already twenty-four years old.

The boy asked, "Can you be my girlfriend?"
The girl smiled with tears falling from her eyes.
"Oh! Is that tears of joy?" the boy asked.

The girl chuckled and hug the boy.
And then she whispered,
"I'm sorry. I have cancer and will die sooner or later."
