*Chloe never expected to be paired up with Rose of all people for some biology project, they didn't have anything to do with each other. Though after stumbling through a flower fair, they start finding things in common. Besides having blonde hair and blue eyes*

====================================

Chloe rolled her eyes, Marinette had stumbled into class late again, closing the door behind her gently and walking to her seat to sit down. She had been late for class every morning, she wondered if the baker had anything better to do than sleep late.

Ms. Mendeleiev placed the chalk down and turned around to see Marinette in her seat, she gave a silent sigh. She was late again and missed attendance. Another mark on the chart. "Late again Marinette?" The baker panicked "I-Uh-"

"Don't tell me. Save it for later" She placed her hand up and went back to what she was going to say. "Alright class. We're going to do a--"

Her talking was interrupted by a quiet laughter in the back of the class. Ms. Mendeleiv could see that she was being ignored, that the two girls in the back weren't paying attention. They were too focused on something playing on their phone to notice her staring at the two students in the back. She wanted to ignore them and go back to speaking.

She cleared her throat again to gain their attention. "As I was saying, we're going to do another graded assignment, this time--" Another fits of giggles. The teacher turned her head away from the front to the back of the classroom again. Finding the source of laughter to be the same pair of girls, talking to each other and laughing during class time.

Ms. Mendeleiev had enough of that. The science teacher walked from her spot towards the back of her class to the pair of girls, who were obviously not involved in learning. She had to separate them, they were too occupied in each other to notice her walking towards them.

She cleared her throat, a bit louder this time and took the phone directly out of Rose's hands. "As I was saying. For this graded assignment, you'll be working in pairs. And I'll pick them for you" She stared at the two girls, who looked quite guilty as some of the classmates were looking back to at the pair.

Ms. Mendeleiv went back to the front of room, holding the phone in her hands before placing it in her drawer. She looked back up to see they were all paying attention finally. "Now. What we're going to do is a biology exercise. All of you are going to go out and about into the city. Pay attention to the natural things around you and take notes. Write an essay about how they process and help the ecosystem and environment. This is a hands on project, so I do suspect you to use your senses"

Rose glanced back to Juleka, who was busy looking somewhere else. She was excited for the outdoor project, daydreaming of taking a walk in the park with her and smelling the beautiful flowers. Oh! They would probably go to the flower shop or the gardens and make flower crowns. Or find some where to sit and admire nature. Maybe spy for wild animals and talk about the sunset while listening to the birds sing alone. Cuddle with each other, feeling the warmth. This was for the project of course!

Rose's daydream was cut off quickly as it began. "Juleka you're with Nathaniel. Rose you're with Chloe"

"What?!"

Both blondes shouted with utter shock and distraught. They both thought this was ridiculous.

Chloe raised her hand up high quicker than she could. "Um. Ms. Mendeleive. What about me and Sabrina?! We're always together for projects!"

"Well not anymore. I did say I'll pick the pairs didn't I? Sabrina you're with Alix" Chloe pouted and crossed her arms. This was ridiculous. She felt the ginger next to her placed her hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry Chloe...changing partners isn't so bad as you think" "But we've always been partners..." she grumbled, though not really making a scene of this sudden change. Maybe she was right....but who was going to do the essay? Not her exactly.
