I was concentrated on my book when I noticed a large person coming towards me. I backed up against the chair and wanted to flee until he stopped just before me with a large grin on his face.

"Honeymoon Bell!" he cheered happily before he was pulled back by the arm as Yang appeared beside him.

"You shouldn't run toward strangers and start talking nonsense. People might misunderstand" Yang reprimanded him but his tone was light, a small smile on his lips.

"But she is Honeymoon Bell! She looks exactly like her!"

Honeymoon Bell?

"You must've hit your head hard during your basketball practice. This' the girl I was taking care of. Yin, this' Dave. Dave, Yin" Yang gestured between me and the large person. I understood immediately this was the Dave in his stories and was also Yang's friend.

I stood up and bowed shyly in greeting, "Hello"

Dave blushed making me blush in return, trying to hide behind Yang.

"You're just like her" he said airily, staring at me blankly. I wanted to escape.

As I was flustered, I didn't notice the dark look in Yang's eyes. He was also no longer smiling.

"So she's the one you always skip out on us for" a girl came up from behind with another guy.

"Stop staring, doofus. You're making it awkward for everyone" the 2nd guy elbowed Dave's side making him snap out of his trance.

Then to me he said, "Hi, I'm Lee and this' Aubrey. You must be Yin" he said politely and I nodded.

Lee seemed to want to say more but Yang spoke up, "Now that everyone's met each other it's time for us to go, Yin. It's late and we still need to make dinner" Yang smiled at me as he placed a hand on the small of my back and pushed me gently in the direction of the main school gates.

"Don't be so hasty, Yang. Why don't you take Honey- Yin with us to our hang out? You can have dinner there too" Dave jogged to stand in front of us, looking from me to him.

"Not today. Maybe next time, Dave" he stirred me to go around him but he side stepped to block the way.

"C'mon, you haven't been there in weeks. Everyone says they miss you since you've been so busy"

"Yeah, Yang. Yin might like it there too" Lee added as they came to stand behind us.

Aubrey looked at me for a split second before smiling at Yang, "Why not just go with us? You'll get to watch her as you have fun and we won't be staying long anyway. We still have to study for the quiz tomorrow" Aubrey said coolly but I felt a strange vibe from her.

What was with that look? Condescending? I shook the thought away, I must've seen wrong.

A large part of me was also interested in this place they were mentioning. Yang talked about his friends but seldom about himself so maybe I can get more information about him from his friends.

"Can we go, Yang?" I asked quietly but Dave heard me and he gave a whoop.

Yang took a long look at me as they continued to goad him then he nodded reluctantly.

...

The place they were talking about was a type of underground bar & restaurant near school that also had a billiards area and an arcade to the side.

As it was near school and it was already the end of classes, there were a lot of students and young adults inside.

"This isn't the type of place for you" Yang suddenly whispered as we descended the stairs but I couldn't ask him to elaborate as people started talking to them.
