Chapter 58: A New Adventure

{Flashback}

*??? POV*

I watched my young son play around with his sisters in the backyard. They look so happy, as if nothing in the world is wrong.

I know a time will come, when he has to learn the truth about himself, the world, and everything else. A time will come when he has to take over my role and continue the fight. And I fear that time.

I pulled my hood over my head and turned to leave. As I was walking away, I whistled, and heard wings flapping towards me.

"What is it, Partner?" Funus said, landing on my shoulder.

"Funus," I said, "Do you promise that if the time comes, you'll be there to protect him?"

"Of course I will," He said, "I will fight to my last breath for him. None shall harm him."

I giggled a bit, "Thank you, Funus."

"Now, where are we going today?"

"Apparently he's been spotted in Atlas," I said, "Ozpin's sending a Bullhead right now."

"Let's go get him, Partner."

{Flashback Over}

*Ophis POV*

Late at night, I walked towards Master's room, trying to get to my most comfortable sleeping spot, Master's chest. Usually it's a race between us girls to see who gets the best spot, so I always get there before everyone else.

As I walked up to Master's door, I reached out and turned the knob. I slowly pushed the door open, and walked in silently. I crept over towards Master's bed, seeing his sleeping form under the covers.

I lifted up the covers and slipped under, pressing myself against his chest. I gently hugged him, and got comfortable.

"Oh Master," I whispered, "Your chest is so soft, and... silky?"

I pushed myself up and looked down at what I was laying on, seeing a bunch of pillows. I threw a bunch of them around, and stood up from the bed.

"Master?"

[Timeskip]

"So, Y/n is gone?"

Rias asked, looking at the bed full of pillows. I just nodded along, answering all her questions.

"Yes," I said, "I came in and he was gone, all I found were pillows."

Ravel and Raynare paced around the room, checking everything for clues as to where Y/n went. Xenovia and Akeno were checking Y/n's closet, apparently seeing if he took anything with him. Although I swear I could see Akeno stealing Y/n's underwear.

Everyone else from Rias' peerage were looking around the room, for any clue as to where he went. All of us turned our attention to Kiba, who held up a notebook.

"Hey, I think I found something."

He opened the notebook, and handed it to Rias. Rias read through a few pages, and then put it down.

"We should've seen this coming," She said, "He's going after the Sacred Beast."

Everyone groaned, and then Ravel spoke up, "So, are we going after Lord Y/n?"

"I guess we have no choice," Raynare said, "We are his peerage after all."

"You're not going anywhere," Rias said, "I will go get him alone, and then I will bring him back."

"What?!" Raynare yelled, "Who gives you that authority!?"

"He's my brother!"

"He's our master!"

With that, an argument began, between Rias and Raynare, with Ravel backing up Raynare. They began fighting back and forth, and it began to annoy me.

"ENOUGH!" I yelled, "Tomorrow, we will all go find Master, and we will bring him home! But for tonight, I don't want to hear your squabbling!"

Everyone turned to me, and even though I could see Rias giving me a death stare, she wouldn't dare attack me.

"As for now," I said, "Go back to bed. We'll search for him tomorrow."

Slowly, everyone began to leave the room. Eventually, it was just Me, Raynare, and Ravel.

"Did you really mean that?" Ravel asked, "Should we really wait until morning to search for Lord Y/n?"

"No," I said, "We're leaving, now. We can't let Rias and her peerage get Master before us."

"There's something I agree with," Raynare said, "Let's get a move on."

Her wings appeared, and her sexy outfit also appeared. Ravel spread her wings, and I walked over to the balcony. I lead us, as we flew out of the house.
